Dabi is one of the only ones to get away with it, either. There aren't many that can actually piss him off and not end up blowing away in the wind ala iconic scenes. He has something for everyone, including something that he thought maybe Dabi may like as well. Something that's currently hanging just barely beside the man's head, mounted within a spidery mess of fingers looking more bulb than hand off a string of some sort.

"That's the first time I've ever heard you slur my name." He can needle all he wants, but Tomura knows damn well they're... ahem. Handy. "People curious enough to what's going on in here, people who don't like what I'm doing, or morons. It saves me the trouble. These things are a OHKO."

He points out the little danglingling creature. "That one has a camera mount inside those fingers. Small enough to hide, quick enough to move, obedient enough to know a target and sentient enough to know to come back after a time."

Better be careful with that surprise gift; he might be more apt to torch it when he notices it out of "surprise" than anything else. Though when it does get close enough to him, the bare brush against some of those wild black spikes triggers and Dabi instinctively ducks to the side, lanky body doing some kind of evasive wave roll from head to hips. The kind of thing someone does when they brush past a spider web in the forest.

But it gets his attention and he frowns at the creature. Spider, definitely. Fingers, of course it's fingers. The way it's hanging off a string only makes the arachnid similarity all the more obvious. Still, he listens to the explanation/introduction. Tomura really put in some thought to this one, specifically for him, so the urge to burn the spindly little thing fades quickly.

"Thanks." Curt, simple, but true. He holds his arm out below it, like waiting for a parrot to climb onto his limb. "Just don't go spindlin around in my hair." None of that creepy shit crawling across the back of his neck or sliding into his shirt. But the uses of the fingamera is welcome.

Dabi scared of a huge little spider-hand would've been less funny if he killed it, but seeing him duck makes it pretty funny. Enough that his smirk could've been his usual smile if he was in the mood. However, yes, he did. This one really was based on Dabi's... exploits even if they were a while ago. Everyone knows an omen when they see one, but no one really looks up, now do they?

Being thanked for it, and in as sincere a way as Tomura has ever heard it makes him nod his head once in kind. "Yeah." or maybe... "You're welcome." The command to not be in hair is the one to Dabi's new pet, so he ignores it and brushes off a couple of his creations from various heights of the decrepit building. "I'm only going to be here a week tops, then I'll be moving somewhere else. I'll tell you when I move where I've gone incase you have a nightmare. For now I'm here."

Dabi never asked. It's Tomura looking for the familiar.

Excuse you. He's still a human and doesn't like to be surprised by a spindly bunch of gross legs so close to his damn head. It's human reaction. At least reaction for those who haven't been living around finger monsters for the past several days. Tomura's expression is just asking to get a scorch on the face, but he holds the urge back like normal and instead accepts the little gift. It'd be useful since, as Tomura notes, their omens are all pretty recognizable now.

Once again, a flicker of their strange camaraderie exhibits himself in the trade of gratitude and acceptance. Nothing else needs to be made of it. Heh, Dabi would've been pretty amused if Tomura had thought that command about his hair was for him. Yeah, no he's not planning on letting the other man climb onto his shoulder, thanks. Moving further into the building, Dabi takes himself on a semi-guided tour, looking at this and that to see what else Tomura's been calling "home" for now. At least as far as "home" goes for this temporary stopover.

"Ya gonna get a new place every time or rotate the same bunch?" He's already told Tomura he does the latter, having a few haunts for his personal crashing, though he's kept his mainstay a secret from basically everyone he knows. Always opting to meet people elsewhere instead of at "home" like some would request.
