[ now, that's the first he's heard of that. falco lifts his head and straightens his back, but doesn't pull his hold away completely. instead, he looks interested. ]

[He huffs and looks up at Falco a little blearily. Bah, pseudoscience.]

Like type A people are supposed to be neat and anxious, type O are leaders but insensitive... uh... I don't remember the others...

[He shrugs and rolls back over, closing his eyes. He must be more comfy!]

I'm blood type A, but that doesn't mean anything, really. It just determines what sort of blood transfusions I can get. Or... could, I guess. Since my blood is different now.

[ falco's eyes hold a touch of interest as he accommodates to jun's moving about for the right spot to lay around in. once he seems situated, the blond pulls a light blanket over him and tucks in the corners. ]

What blood type would I be?

[Even as the tips of his ears go pink because damn, that's sappy.]

No, probably O. Since you're outgoing and a romantic.

[ —dahfjgf!! falco kind of . . . pinches the tip of his exposed ear for that. making him!! go all green again!! ]

I'll— I'll show you romantic!

[ now he's just messing around, but he does . . . aggressively peck the ear he pinched! hmph! ]

[He laughs a little and snuggles into Falco a bit, reaching up to scritch the back of his neck.]

You can't say that I'm wrong, can you?

[ —he’s getting flustered! like, furiously flustered! luckily, jun would know he’s not exactly acting on embarrassment, or irritation. he is all sorts of warm and only seems to be teasing by being a tad dramatic. ]

That’s ‘cause . . . I am romantic.

[ huff!!! but his facade breaks with a smile at the end of it. he’s a good actor, in parts. ]

[He chuckles and reaches over to pinch Falco's nose gently.]

Yes, and adorable. So? It's still true.

[He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.]

You... you're the best thing that's ever happened to me. I really mean that.

[ honk. not that he actually makes the sound, but it sort sort of a soft “bwah”. after that and rubbing his nose with his palm, falco’s crooked smile goes soft and melted. ]

I didn’t know this would happen, but— I’m just as glad that it did.

[ i love you. he doesn’t have to be afraid to say it. he loved jun as a friend before this. he’d never stop loving him. there’re so many different ways to love. so he says it, after a skipping beat in his chest and carding away stray stands of the boy’s hair from his cheek. ]

And I love you.

[And that's all that really needs to be said, isn't it? He curls up a little more and just settles in to enjoy the touch. After all, they need to cherish the time that they have here.]
