For those who can use magick, yes. Not many can and I don't think it's a common technique. But when my mind was broken beyond repair, to the point I neither knew my own identity and kept hallucinating things around me, my mother restored my sanity by simply pulling the madness out the way you'd pull on a string to unravel a sweater. She was a very experienced witch and knew many ways to accomplish things unknown to the galaxy at large.

[The magick of Dathomir was a strange branch of use of the Force. They did things that should have been physically impossible such as teleportation, summoning things out of thin air, and using voodoo dolls to torture people with.]

That... almost sounds too good to be true.

( but what reason would maul lie about this? it wouldn't be like him, too. but wouldn't it be nice to no longer have scary hallucinations? to have constant reminders of her failures from when she wakes up to she sleeps? and even in her sleep, they disturb her. jinx's been doing her best to keep them at bay -- to not show her "freak outs" to others. the last she wants is to lose friends or be treated differently. she's already that if not more so. )

Rarely are there simple answers to difficult questions. The solution was simple, in this case, but the price she paid for it was losing control of most of her physical form.

[Talzin, of course, had considered it a worthy endeavor to bring her eldest and favored son home. Maul, with his state of being at the time, had no idea the price she paid until long afterwards. He'd gotten no say in the matter but his family had done what they thought was best for him at the time.]
