When Ange buries her head in her shoulder, Ruby just moves to hold discard her weapon and hold her tightly. Her own heart was racing from what they had just been through, but it calmed as the adrenaline cleared out of her system. More than anything she was glad the two of them had made it out of this without taking any serious harm.

She let's one hand rise up and gently rubs against the back of Ange's head.

"Alright... I mean- I have to tell ya. You did great back there. Couldn't have done that without you."
