The monster launches itself forward, catapults itself, really. Those huge, misshapen arms throwing it into motion, fingertips digging into the ground to propel it. It screams, but the sound is muffled by the metal in its mouth.

The aim of the assault, now, is to ram the opponent with the table it's bolted to. Knock them down. Tear them apart with the massive hands.

Maul waited for the creature to get close before he flipped out of the way, giving himself some distance from the table monster. He hadn't expected something that big to be quite that fast. Now that he had a better measure of it, he was forming a strategy on how to deal with it.

Then he allowed the beast to come closer again. When it got within the range of Maul's saberstaff, he struck out, first with the end closer to the beast, and then flipping the other end of the staff in an uppercut move designed to slice a long injury upon the creature.

The creature flips over. It takes the cut on the table portion of its body, and... balances on its hands.

So positioned, it takes that table and swings it around like a club. Trying to hit its attacker.

Well, he hadn't expected this thing to defy a few of the laws of physics! He was caught unawares when it swung at him with the table portion. It hit Maul with a good Thwack! across the chest. Maul flew back through the air though he managed to land on his feet.

When he straightened up, one hand was pressed to his chest. That had hurt. Well, that was a battle. Back and forth until one of them made a critical mistake. He held out his hand and summoned the Force, trying to quickly pull the monster towards him.
