Maul frowned at the question of what he was. How rude! But the kid was young, so maybe his mother hadn't taught him manners yet. "My name is Maul and I'm a Zabrak," he said a little testily and in a manner which suggested this should have been an obvious fact. He looked around. "But I don't think many people here know what that is." There were some other non-human children at the orphanage but not many and none that looked like Maul.

At the third question, he squinted down at Thirteen. He'd been about to say no but the Force swirled differently around this boy in a way Maul didn't understand yet. Maybe it would come to him later. "I don't know," he said truthfully. "Maybe."

Maul smiled as Thirteen tried to show how tall he was. It reminded him again of Savage, the way the little kit always tried to keep up with his older and stronger brother. "You'll get bigger soon," Maul said with the reassuring tone of an older brother. "'N then you can get a name." It seemed weird that someone wouldn't be allowed a name but perhaps things simply worked out differently where the young boy was from.

"No, there's human beings where I'm from. I guess maybe it's just the humans on this one planet who haven't ever met a Zabrak before." He'd guessed they were the dominant species on this planet given the majority of them that made up the population in the city.
