Turning back towards the opening, he takes a step forward, before finally calling upon that ever so tightly, gripped sword.
Waking the old Fang Xin from its long slumber. Drawing out this particular longsword always gave Xie Lian mixed feelings. As much as he could go on for days about weaponry, this specific sword was just incomparable to the rest.
With its slender jade black blade as sharp as a lazer, able to easily slice through just about any surface. And it's cool steel grain pattern that casts a crisp silver line in the bright sunlight. Or even its smoother than ice finish, more polished then even the most expensive of mirrors. It was beauty and elegance.
But although visually impeccable, the weapon gives off a heavy ominous aura with a dangerous icy pulse vibrating from its very core. The sort of tool one would use for one and only one purpose. As beautiful as it is deadly, the sword is truly a remarkable instrument of death.
Xie Lian takes in one last deep breath before
vanishing into the street.
An eerie silence hangs thick in the air before the sound of quickly approaching footsteps can be heard just outside the alley.]

[Sunny watches Xie Lian step forward, unleashing that blade that was truly unlike anything he'd ever seen before. Swords weren't something he saw on the regular, but even those in museums paled in comparison to the one that Xie Lian held.
It was immaculate.
The sort of weapon that he'd believe was capable of taking down something like a beast.
When Xie Lian exits the alley, Sunny waits. Back pressed up against the stone wall, he listens for anything. Eventually he hears them. The footsteps. He hesitates for a second, before peering out, only just bearing his good eye to the world outside of the alley to see what was happening.]
