Who: Jun, Falco, Ryunosuke, Kazuma, Manabu...maybe friends of the sort as they wish to drop in?
What: Moving into a new place and some tidy-up/diy and other housemate mingling
When: Februaryish
Where: Crenshaw
Content Warnings: None in the starter, to be tagged as needed in comments
There's a house in Crenshaw getting tidied up and moved into this month by a pack of folks looking for some fresher space...and space for a garden. There's much work to be done to make the place comfy and livable, but there's plenty of hands available to give it a shot - maybe more, if friends want to come over and help around.
[just throw down tl's and/or bodyslam each other to fulfill all your domestic moving needs]

Jun doesn't have a lot to bring, other than... books. He still has a lot left over from when everyone was hoarding things, and a lot of them are heavy. He's been working out nearly every day so his arms are a bit stronger, but it's still a big task for someone so small. It's easy enough to find him either carrying a large stack of books towards his new space... or finding him picking books out of the snow. He should put them in a bag... but he's out of bags for his books.
II - Moving In
Jun is not an interior decorator, but he's managed to do all right in claiming two small rooms - one for him and one for Falco. (Falco has to come back, he can't bear it if he doesn't.) The first room is dark and crammed full of books, but that's not the one he's most focused on. No, he's focusing more of his attention on a lighter room, fussing over everything from the placement of the pillows to how open to have the window shade. He might need a break...
III - Moving... Nowhere
Eventually, even he has to give in to exhaustion. He wants to go out and tidy the garden - there's plenty of debris and snow out there to move - but he doesn't... have the energy anymore. He flops on the couch in the family room area and just watches people go by. He's very tired from the day already, and he still needs to get up and help make dinner... there's a lot to do, still.
Maybe just sitting and talking can help him get his energy back? Or just resting. Resting is good too.

from halfway through the door:] I'm back-! If anyone's still...oh. [once he's mostly in with his box of crockery, he sees the carnage.] Hi, Jun.
no subject
... Hello. Just... taking a break...
[He's tired and still depressed and he has to do a lot of work here still and...]
[Not right now. He sighs and gently flips Magnet over to rub his tummy.]
Did you need a hand?
no subject
Manabu sets the box down and closes the door, sidestepping it so he can unlace and take his boots off.]
Aa, it's just pots and pans and stuff from the flat. [Ryunosuke and Kazuma's.] Unless you have particular visions of where you want them to go, you don't gotta worry about it.
no subject
[He wants to be able to help, but he's short. He knows he's short. It's fine, it's not going to be a big deal. Hopefully.]
[Magnet gets some tummy rubs and then gets an arm thrown over him loosely, tugging him in to lean on Jun.]
Hey, you. Have you been good?
no subject
He's only behaving now because he likes you.
no subject
[He's aware that omens are part of their owners! You can't fool him. Not like it was in doubt.]
You should sit down once you're done with the dishes. Just for a minute.
no subject
[he's just going to set it down anyway; Ryuu and Kazuma have as much of a say where they go as he does - it's their cookware and all.]
There's no way I'm that shameless... [that being the sight he sees when he returns - of the happiest little dog just lounging on Jun like he was designed specifically to be there.
he rounds the couch and bends to pat Jun's omen - a much more mellow, sensible creature who (to his knowledge) doesn't bite ankles.]
no subject
[Jun's omen ruffs in response, leaning against Manabu in an attempt to get him to sit down. Once he does, the omen just drapes across the older boy's lap.]
Are you going to need help with your room? I've already decorated mine and - and Falco's.
[He stumbles over the name, biting his lip. The other boy will come back. He knows he will. He just has to have faith.]
no subject
I kind of hoped to get away with helping set up your spots more than my own and making that a Ryuu and Kazuma problem, eheh... [handiwork? easy, time killing. interior decorating? barely fathomable.]
no subject
[He can draw out a plan for a room, it's not that hard if you're used to drawing diagrams for class or for what an animal looks like.]
I just... I want to have a nice place we can all come home to.
no subject
Mm. I agree. And we can add more as we go - more space to do that here, right? [he turns his head a bit to smile small over Jun's way.] Did you want to grab the desk from the old place, find a new one, or build one? Either one is easy enough to do.
no subject
[He'd like to pick the exact kind, after all.]
And we can worry about the garden when the snow melts... I need to start reading up on what sorts of things grow here.

falco grice (aot) | ota! (don't mind my late)
[ a lanky young man finally makes his appearance at the crenshaw home! at first, with jun just sort of hauling him in followed by quite a bit of time spent resting in his room. once rested— he's up and about to help clean and organize things wherever they should be. he's a dedicated helper and is sure to be tidy. falco brings many personal belongings to the front door at some point, including bags, books and his personal kits (his growing medicinal trunk grows as much as his blood minister education).
at one point he'd like to ask: "can i make a chicken coop outside?" he has pet chickens, and would love to bring them over.
not only chickens, but falco also has a very special chaperone that could either be seen constantly following him or even alone, floating over the residence: an angelic bird thing that will give those who see him a blessing of jubilee. ]

[Manabu looks up and over his shoulder, himself standing in the kitchen, in the middle of chopping something up.
he blinks at the boy.]
You want to keep birds?
no subject
[ now, just allow him to clear his throat before it cracks on him, but falco is ready to show manabu the pictures he has on his device— four stylish hens. ]
That’s Cathrine, Lucy, Nina and Gertrude. They lay good eggs.
no subject
Huh. And they thrive okay in the city? No parasites or anything?
no subject
I don’t . . . Think so? Their feathers always shine and they eat well.
[ oh, there’s one more picture he shows. it’s of a rooster with . . . big, bushy human eyebrows???? ]
This is Austin.
no subject
...Is...[huh.] I mean, I don't really hang around chickens, so I guess that's...normal...
I suppose I'll have to learn how to make a coop...
no subject
I just wanted to make sure it was okay to bring them here.
no subject
[beat.] You don't have to call me "Mister," Falco. [he smiles small, lopsided.] I'm not that old.
no subject
[ a touch flustered and (literally) green: ]
How old are you?
no subject
[beat.
...
blink.]
...Er. Twenty...six? [squint.] I think? I...I haven't been keeping good track...
no subject
My commanders are your age. [ that still warrants respect, mind you!! ] But if you prefer your first name, I’ll go by it.
