It was one of my mother's favourites.
[ wanda looks at the plant fondly. it continues to quietly sing as though it knows not to belt out any of the notes right now. ]
The plant makes it sound happier than it is.
[ she looks at amos and smiles. ]
Thank you for it. It makes the house feel a little less lonely.
