she scrunches her face up in disgust, but she doesn't hesitate to strike the kitchen knife at it from another angle rather than focus on where stefan is. the best way to hack at a weed is from all sides… or use a proper thingy to dig it up. whatever.
the plant strikes out with its other roots in pain as she stabs its stalk. the knife gets stuck for a moment before she tugs it out and clumsily steps back. ]
