[The complete and total shutdown is... distressing. He tries to reach out for his blood magic, instinctively - but of course it's not there. He feels that pressure, but he's very strong-willed. He feels her barrier and he shoves against it. He doesn't care that it's a fortress. He cares that she's done something to Mob.]

[ the worst of it is that she keeps smiling. nothing changes. not a tick or a twitch. she just keeps smiling, with unblinking eyes that seer straight into him. she doesn't react like humans should. no bite, no bark (after all, she's just seeing some yipping). his threat means nothing. his anger means nothing. this mystery person even reminds her of a very scruffy old man that smells like wet dog. she had no interest or energy to waste trying to control kishibe. he was absolutely useless to her. and for now, so is this little runt.
