[Diluc is there to save Ives from a painful jab with claws, allowing him to likewise sidestep while the Zealot is concerned with the other man. Ives moves to just opposite Diluc, practically sandwiching their quarry between them. The magical creature does seem quite capable of splitting it's focus between them, but that's only going to get more difficult to balance it if hopes to do more than wear itself out trying to defend both sides.
