"I don't think a random person off the street is going to be able to do much more than irritate you."

Or maybe amuse her so it should probably be him. He smiles and reaches for one of her hands.

"What if I asked you nicely? Would that persuade you?"

That's too true. No one can irritate her the right way like Stefan can, after all.

"You can try," she smiles. That may help. Stefan asking very nicely may end with her blushing, but it's a risk she's willing to take.

"You can always wash my back again," she scrunches her nose as she considers that, "but that might not help you get me on my knees."

Stefan laughs and gives his head a shake. He'll wash her back because he wants to wash her back but he's not surprised at her making it a little more difficult for him.

"And what would get you on your knees?"

"And tell you the answer? Tsk." Katherine shakes her head, chuckling.

After all the time they've spent together, he should know by now some of her weaknesses. Granted, he's already naked, so that's one of her many Stefan-related weaknesses that are unavailable for him to wield as a weapon.

"It's called romancing someone, Stefan. Or, as I like to call it, seducing me."

"But, if you tell me the answer, then I can do whatever you want me to do. Isn't that a good thing?"

No, he knows what she wants. He wants him to guess what she wants, make her enjoy what he's doing. He chuckles.

"I think, in this relationship, you're better at seduction than I am. I might just bumble it all up."

"Your bumbling is very seductive," she says. For her, it is. She's very aware that he's her Achilles heel on most days.

Stefan can breathe and she'll be interested. She likes that he tries. She likes that he gives it a go. He may not be confident in his abilities to woo, but she thinks it means something that he's caught her in his web.

She smiles at him and genuinely says, "I like that you try."

That's what she finds the most alluring.

Well, that's enough to make him smile. He reaches for her and brings her closer to him so he can kiss her forehead.

"I think you're both complimenting me and trying to get me to try right now."

He knows her game, he knows how she works.

"Am I right?"

"You might be."

She smiles at him. He could kiss her forehead a few more times and she'd feel very romanced, but Katherine doesn't want to tell him that. He's not allowed any shortcuts or hints.

She arches her brow and presses her hands against his naked chest. "Don't I deserve to be seduced every now and then?"

"I didn't say you didn't. I just know that I'm not very good with seduction."

He was good with being sweet and sometimes cute but he wasn't very sultry and all. It's something he's been working on. So yes, he kisses her forehead again.

"You deserve everything."

"Stefan," she chuckles. Fanning her fingers out against his chest, she shakes her head incredulously. This beautiful, silly boy still doesn't get it, does he?

"You exist." Looking up at him in admiration, she taps her fingers gently against his skin. "That's enough seduction for me."

And her everything, though, Katherine imagines that's a little too tooth-achingly sweet to say. She's getting better at it, the sweet endearments, her being romantic in the same way she was five hundred years ago.

"Wow, sweet nothings from Katherine. That's a rare thing."

He smiles though, reaching for her hands and bringing them up so he can kiss every single finger there before he laces his fingers with hers.

"I love you too. I don't know if I believe that me being alive is seduction enough but thank you."

He's lucky he's captured her hands, because Katherine was getting ready to shove him gently. She shivers and blushes at him tending to her fingers. This is romance that she enjoys… and she likes that they're being gentle with one another after this evening's events.

She rolls her eyes. Of course, Stefan doesn't think that. But that's okay—she thinks she can make him see her way with a little persuasion.

Cocking her brow, she peers up at him. "Maybe I could convince you?" Her smile widens before she bows her head and gently kisses the slope of his shoulder.

"I don't know, I'm very stubborn and hard to convince."

He was so easy and so easily convinced especially when it came to her but he can act like he isn't. He can act like he's strong and strong willed.

"But that does feel very nice. It might...help."

"Hm."

She doesn't move from his neck. She kisses her way up his neck, ensuring to graze her teeth and tongue against his skin. She's slow in her ascent up to his ear where she nips at his earlobe. Pressing her hand against his opposite shoulder, Katherine steps into him before she sucks at the spot beneath his ear.

"Is this convincing enough?" she murmurs against his skin.

"Well, that's...pretty convincing."

It's very convincing. He does like the feel of her mouth against his skin no matter where she puts it and how she uses her mouth. He sighs, closing his eyes and curving his hand around the back of her neck.

"Could be more convincing."

He wants her to keep sucking at his skin or he wants her to bite him or something. He's feeling greedy and just wants more.

His hand feels nice at the back of her neck. Katherine ensures not to try and dislodge it from where it is. Kissing his neck slowly, she works her way down to his shoulder and to his rose tattoo.

Sweetly, she smiles and asks, "What could be more convincing than me naked and wet in the shower with you?"

She imagines there's a few things. Biting him. Maybe even getting on her knees as she had suggested. But she thinks it's only fair to make Stefan blush first.

"That's definitely something that's very convincing." His fingers rub a little harder at the back of her neck, more of a massage now than anything else. He digs his nails into her and laughs a bit.

"There's plenty of things that could be more convincing because that's exactly what you'd say to me if our positions were reversed."

Because she'd want more from him if he was the one trying to convince her or something.

"You keep doing that and I will forget exactly what it is I wanted to do to convince you," she purrs. Closing her eyes, she bows her head and moans softly at his fingers. Stefan has magical hands, incredibly magical, very strong, and just so fucking good.

"I think it involved my knees," she smirks. Sighing softly, she offers, "Can't remember the rest."

She doesn't particularly want to. She'll happily die with his hands on her neck as long as he continues to press down like this.

"Hmm. Maybe you'll remember eventually."

So, she gets her wish in that he doesn't stop moving his fingers against her neck, digging them in to loosen up the tense muscles he can feel there. He doesn't mind doing this in lieu of what she'd been thinking about.

"How many centuries have you had these knots in your neck?"

"Five and a half."

Long before she had become a vampire, at least. Katherine knows she has been very tense—and becomes even tenser when Stefan's all naked and wet. What? A girl can't get excited?

She moans low in her throat and keeps her eyes closed. While she can rip her head away from his hands, she likes his hands. They're magical, magical hands.

"Less in the last year."

"That's good."

Since the last year had been when they'd picked up things between them. He still feels tension and knots in there but knowing that it's not as bad as it once was is a good thing.

He smiles a bit as he works his hands into her neck and then down into her shoulders.

"I'm surprised you never went to a professional masseuse."

"I did a few times," she says, inhaling deeply and slowly. When she sighs, she peers down at the tiles and is grateful to see the lack of dirt coming off from her now. "But none of them had these magical hands."

Reaching back behind her, she taps her hands blindly against his. None of those hands had belonged to Stefan.

"I'm feeling a lot better now."

"Does that mean you want me to stop?"

He doesn't stop just yet despite the tapping at his hands, still digging his fingers into her shoulders to try and loosen her up a little more.

"Or keep going to see just how loose and relaxed I can get you?"

"Keep going."

If he takes his hands off of her now, he may lose them in her attempt to rip them off his wrists and put them back onto her body.

She smiles, chuckling. "Make me nice and loose for you, Stefan."

Give her an inch and she's going to go for the whole big cock of a mile.

Stefan laughs under his breath and keeps his hands moving, digging his fingers into her muscles and concentrating especially hard when he finds a knot.

"It's amazing to me how you can make anything sound like an innuendo."
