An office! Yes, that should be nice, but that's for you, not for your customers. Even if it's greasy... what's grease-proof decor?

[ A real stumper for Wu. He taps his lips with a finger. ]

What are you thinking, for the clientele you want to serve here?

[ We must think about the audience! ]

People who... need their things fixed?

[Look she may come from High Society but she really is too practical for all of this.]

I don't think they're going to be too picky. I could dress it up a little, but...

[She looks around, a little lost. She takes after her father much more than her father's hired decorater, sadly.]

Okay, okay, so people who need their things fixed. They're probably kind of upset, right? Because their thing is broken! So a calming space, somewhere where you can work, and they can wait and not be quite so upset because their stuff is in the hands of Asami Sato, the best engineer in Trench.

[ He's nodding now, punching a hand in the air ]

It doesn't have to be fancy, but it should be nice!

I... guess so.

[She frowns at the walls. Her tone's a little bashful as she goes on, wondering if what she's about to say is a cardinal sin in Wu's eyes. He is dating Mako though, so...]

I'm not very good at this type of thing, honestly.

[royalfling]

Really? [ Wu looks back at her, his brows raising ] But you're so-- so put together! I thought this sort of thing would be right up your alley. With your fashion sense?

[ He shakes his head. Well, maybe fashion and interior design aren't exactly the same thing ]

Then don't you worry about it! If you want my help, I will help. This place will be the most inviting repair... shop? There ever was!

[futureinventor]

[She waves him off, although she does appreciate the compliment. It feels a lot different coming from him now than it did when they first. Probably most of all because he's now in a very committed relationship with her ex-boyfriend-slash-adopted-brother.]

Are you sure? I know you're really busy with the Raccoon Room, I wouldn't want to take up too much of your time.

[royalfling]

Oh, no! The Raccoon Room, this part is done! And it was so fun, it would be my pleasure to do this.

[ He parks his hands on his hips, still surveying the space, before he nods firmly and turns to her ]

Really! You know, I think this is a great idea. The repair shop, since it's so hard to find new stuff here. I almost wish I still had my Satomobile...

[ Not that... he knows how to drive it... ]

[She smirks, half flattered and half amused at what she’s about to say.]

Oh I don’t know if Mako would have the patience to navigate the streets here. That is, unless you’re planning on learning how to drive.

[She wonders if Mako would be any good at teaching someone how to drive or if it would end in tragedy. Probably tragedy.]

[ Calling him out, wow ]

I, well-- maybe it's for the best! That we don't have it. It was sort of useful in Deerington... Sort of?

[ He used it for grocery runs, but only like three times before the streets because impossible to navigate.

He deflates with a sigh ]

No, after the whole gun thing, I don't think I'm really suited to anything mechanical! Except for the stove or, or microwave.

[She frowns at him curiously.]

Gun thing?

[ Oh, boy... ]

Um... There may have been a tiny little itty bitty accident? With a gun. And Mako. He's fine! You know he's fine, he's still here-- I kinda sorta maybe shot him in the leg when I was trying to shoot a big worm monster who was trying to eat us! So I, um. Don't use guns anymore. Or really anything with more fire power than a bo staff or, or my knuckles.

[ The magic brass knuckles that Ruby gave to him last year. He runs the pocket in his jacket that he always carries them in. ]

I promise, I swear, swear, swear that it wasn't on purpose.

[ So, maybe he and Mako were having a fight at the time, but that doesn't mean he did it on purpose.
