"Our fire was pretty safe, then. We built it on top of a stone tower, and put more rock around it."

And since he knew stone couldn't feed a flame, it really was only going to burn the wood they put in the fire.

"Yeah, I'll remember to do that. He's already taught me to fish with a pole! I'd never done that before."

He hunted fish before, farmed fish, and caught fish with a net, but catching them with a pole was new.

"I keep getting a bigger and bigger list of things I need to ask people."

Not that he minds. He likes learning about the surface.
