"Oh, oh yeah. Right. The candy thing." Fern's voice is awkward. His memories of being candy are still pretty fuzzy, it took Kyle reminding him of that horse-headed snake monster to jog his memory of the two of them killing that thing, and now with Luca talking about the pendant that memory is becoming clearer.

He quickly shakes his head and holds up his hands. "You can hold onto it. I got a scarf Luna gave me that does the same thing, so I'm okay." And really, he'd prefer Luca not freeze. "Yeah, I'd guess you'd need to be a seal to be comfortable with the temperature when it's like this right now."
