She grunted and took the seat across from him, nodding to his omen. "That she has," she said, smirking. It still amused her how his was so talkative, where hers remained stonily silent as a rule. Perhaps it said something about what the omen felt they needed.

"Yes, I believe it is one of those cases. I've attempted some home remedies, but I had given my salts away earlier this month, so the more normal bath salts haven't quite been working as well as I wanted." And she was holding onto those green salts. Those were problematic at times. "I'd been told that the ministers could help with the crystallizing blood, yes?"

Truth be told, Cypher seems Wesker's externalized conscience which he lacks, as well as a voice of cheerful reason to his stoical madness.

"The bath salts from the Titanic wreck? Hmm. I had no personal experience of those, but I've heard of a few people having some success with those, though not all," he says, leaning one hip against the edge of his desk. "There's a treatment for it, though it will involve some blood-letting and some careful work on the affected joint. Would you allow me to perform this procedure on you?"

It was a good reason for him to be like that, certainly. And her? She just needed someone to stonily and quietly keep her from getting too much in trouble. "Well, from what I've gathered, salted water is useful, though if you wait too long it's probably not as effective." She hadn't reached that point, but she was fine with blood letting as long as he was the one doing it.

"Yes. Actually you're one of the only ones I'd probably trust to do that," she could freely admit. "It's why I came specifically here."

He manages a small smile, pleased, but adjusts his glasses, almost as if to veil his response. "I appreciate that. Clinical work does not come easily or naturally to me, but I am learning.

Reaching out, he draws a privacy curtain across half of the space. "Well now, shall you show me the affected area?"

As the curtain was drawn, she lifted her sleeves, revealing a reasonable number of crystals forming around the elbow and over the wrists. There were just enough that they would probably be excised easily enough with blood letting instead of extensive removal and painful cutting. She was at least getting this checked out early. A similar motion showed that her knee would need a little help as well.

"It seems to be pooling mostly in the joints here, which is what the natives said. It's slowed me down but not stopped me yet."

He'll lean in, examining the crystals, gently probing them with a gloved fingertip. "Hrrm..." he says, thoughtfully. "This may require working them loose, with care. A pre-emptive transfusion may be in order to ease the process. You have Paleblood, correct?" he asks, looking her in the face. "Is there a Blood type you prefer?"

"Yes. Paleblood would be fine," she said, before frowning a little and then smiling over at him. "Unless there is vileblood that you have in stock. I know that it's supposed to be compatible, and I imagine it can be hard to come by enough paleblood."
