Despite the jittering of adrenaline in his bones and the anxiety knotting in his gut, Manabu feels some hopeful bit of relief as he moves, bit by bit moving down the street. But...where? Where to?!

"Uah, Magnet!" Bark. "Somewhere without people, okay?" Bark bark.

Magnet trots out ahead of them, curly tail in the air. Manabu follows in a kind of sideways pace, glancing ahead of him periodically, but his focus stays mainly on the monster. The monster getting more familiar by the second in a weird way.
