GROWING PAINS
WHEN: September
WHERE: Everywhere
CONTENT WARNINGS: Minor blood ritual.

September, for many in Trench, is considered a month of personal sacrifice. It is the month of self-actualization and promise. To grow your future, you must first be willing to sacrifice your past. You cannot walk forwards while walking backward. All throughout Trench, natives can be seen in yards and on plots of land digging small holes and planting a variety of items. Some plant seeds, some drop in a ring, others bury small parts of a body. But the ritual is simple: bury something that represents your past and seal it with a promise for your future.

You can write yourself a note or cut off a lock of your own hair. The ways in which people do this are limitless since it's a largely personal experience. Find a small patch of soil and dig yourself a shallow hole. Bury the item inside, say goodbye to who you used to be, and cover the item up with dirt. Once you are done, you must shed at least one drop of blood onto the sacrifice. It must be your own blood willingly given. Once the blood hits the soil, a small flower will miraculously grow out of the earth within seconds.

A single, powerless flower, but this flower will be completely immortal. You can either keep it on the patch of land or dig it up and bring it home. The flower will be a representation of your progress in Trench: if its petals wilt, you are lingering too much in the past. If it is in full bloom and vibrant, you're on the right path to a better future. If the flower starts to rot, you're heading down a dangerous path.

The flower may not be able to sway you one way or another, but it may serve as a valuable reminder of the kind of life you wish to lead. Some people abandon the flowers entirely and never bother with them. After all, there are no real consequences if you let the flower rot. If a character is dropped, their flower will fleck away like dust. Many believe that the flowers are made of the same stuff omens are made of.

You can dig up other people's flowers and watch their progress (make sure to get player permission) instead. After all, not everyone will care enough about their own flowers to really observe them closely. The flowers can come in any species or size, even fictional flowers, but they will only be replicas. Meaning if your character's flower is typically used for healing, there will be no healing properties in this replica. The flowers cannot be destroyed.

Many natives in Trench will repeat this ritual a few times every couple of years since the ritual is for letting go of the past. After all, the promises you make to yourself now won't be the same promises you make to yourself ten years from now. People change and so too will their flowers. What the characters bury is largely open to interpretation.

RIVER OF REGRET
WHEN: September
WHERE: Some obscure location within Gaze
CONTENT WARNINGS: Mangled corpses of loved ones, birds eating corpses, themes of regret.

You will find raven feathers all over Trench. They may drift through the air, lightly touch you, or you might decide to pick one up. The moment you come into physical contact with a feather, a conspiracy of ravens tears through the air and scoops you up into a whirlwind of feathers and caws. It only lasts a few seconds before you're deposited into a canoe drifting along a still river. Another Sleeper is in the boat with you. You pass beneath massive stone walls carved into the likeness of Never Mind and his ravens.

The world is silent around you. There is no rain here. Instead, sunlight pours through breaks in the clouds. Sunlight dapples across the water and golden-red leaves of nearby trees. It's more serene than most places in Trench.

You turn a corner and smell it before you see it. The picturesque summer day is dampened by the stench of rot. Then you come upon them: corpses. Corpses tied up to posts with barbed wire, corpses put through spikes and suspended in the air. Ravens flutter to and fro, picking at strips of meat. It isn't until you're close enough that you realize you recognize the corpses.

They are the corpses of people you have hurt. And that doesn't just mean people you killed or physically harmed. These are the bodies of people you have deep regrets towards: a lover you wronged, a best friend you lied to, an enemy you wish you had forgiven. Not everything is as black and white as murder, after all, and this grisly graveyard of mangled bodies says as much. Sometimes our regrets haunt us like the dead, and it seems like yours have followed you to Trench. You might even see your own body up on a post or the body of your canoe companions.

You have one of two choices: ignore your regret or face it.

Choosing to ignore your regrets doesn't seem to have any ill consequences at first. You pass by the corpses and continue on your river voyage. But the water grows thicker, and you come across the same corpses only in a worse state. The situation gets progressively worse each time you ignore it, and the river gradually becomes a river of blood and gore. The stench becomes insufferable and you will become increasingly corrupt. Some may even turn into beasts right there on the river.

Facing your regrets means talking about them, even mildly, to your canoe companions. You simply need to acknowledge the corpses, acknowledge the slightest truth to your feelings towards those regrets. When everyone in your canoe has acknowledged their regrets, the ravens will come for you once more. You will be brought back to Trench and awaken in the School of Mutter. Those who faced their regrets will discover that they have been gifted a white gold compass. The compass's needle will always point in the direction of the nearest Lamp Friend no matter the chaos going on in the world. But the compass only works once you have calmed down and focused.

QUICK FACTS

1. Each boat can hold up to 4 people. There can be multiple canoes in the same area.

2. If you try to leave the boat, you will drown in the River of Regret.

3. This does not have to encompass every regret someone's had. It can only represent one or two things. The regret should have to do with another individual or one's self. Something like "I regret not going to college" wouldn't necessarily work within the parameters of the prompt.

4. The river can only be accessed by touching a fallen raven feather. Touching a raven feather attached to the bird or a quill does not count.

5. Characters can engage with this prompt as many times as they touch a raven feather.

6. Characters with no regrets will not see corpses, but they will still be able to interact with characters who do have regrets.
BLOODSPORT
WHEN: During the Blood Moon
WHERE: Everywhere but specifically, The Gate
CONTENT WARNINGS: Violence, fighting, forced aggression/violence, forced fighting.

The Blood Moon invokes religious reverence among Trenchies. September and October are the ultimate months of sacrifice to pay tribute to the gods and the blood that rules this world. An energy begins to swell among Trenchies and you keep hearing the same word whispered excitedly around the city: "Bloodsport."

As the Blood Moon floods the streets in red, you begin to feel antsy, like you don't know what to do with yourself. You're not necessarily angry, you just have an abundance of energy. You don't need to be told what it is: your blood is reacting to the moon. The Blood Moon enhances blood powers significantly and you're simply not used to that yet. You don't feel in control of your own power or maybe even your own mind. At least until you exert some power, some force. Slam a door shut or swing a sword, shoot some electricity or spit some poison and you'll feel at peace with yourself. That nervous energy will ease out.

Only to come back twice as strong. It starts to put you in a real fighting mood and you start to realize why the locals call this Bloodsport. Hunting down beasts and monsters might seem like the fun thing to do right now, but the real attraction for Bloodsport takes place at The Gate. You can hear the roaring crowd blocks away. Hundreds of Trenchies have settled in to watch Sleepers duke it out with each other or with locked-up monsters. Maybe join in the fight. At least you know the other Sleepers there want to be there...Right?

Unfortunately not. Those who resist Bloodsport will find themselves passing out more and more frequently. Eventually, they will be taken by Mysterious Forces to The Gate to be pitted against other Sleepers and monsters. Some Sleepers will be forced into a gladiator-style fight that they either must win or die trying. Most fights at the Gate do end in death, but there are some circumstances where someone surrenders. Of course, that never stops their opponent from killing them anyway...Hopefully, you're fighting someone who is still relatively reasonable. Both parties can be resistant to fighting, but they will feel obligated to fight each other. If they don't, monsters will be unleashed into the arena and your situation will get a whole lot worse.

Bloodsport can greatly enhance a Sleeper's ability and many believe it is a gift from the Pthumerian gods. It is generally considered an advantage to Sleepers during the Season of Blood to prepare them and train them to hone their skills for the Season of Bone. Many believe it is wisest to submit to Bloodsport and let yourself get used to the motions of violence in order to survive the remainder of the year.

QUICK FACTS

1. Casual physical training will alleviate Bloodsport feelings. You could get through the month just by jogging around a lot.

2. Characters forced to the Gate will not remember how or when they arrived - they will just wake up and be thrown into the Gate by some shadowy force.

3. Characters who willingly participate in violence/fighting will feel temporary relief from Bloodsport only for the feeling to increase.

4. Effects of Bloodsport last as long as the Blood Moon shines through September and October.

5. You can treat symptoms of Bloodsport with calming techniques such as aromatherapy, meditation, medications, etc. Can be based on what would ICly help calm your character but it should require a lot of it.

6. You can invent the monsters/beasts that are at the Gate. They should be killable creatures and easily captured for the purpose of the Gate.

[Indeed she does have claws. And a tail, to boot! Scorpia looks down at her curiously and nods along while she explains.]

Oh yeah, the ritual, and how we got here... It does all make sense together! I do really like that. A new beginning!

[She knows that she feels content and excited about this new chapter of her life! And as she gets a better look at the magazine, she leans down to take it all in.]

Aw, it seems really nice! 'The Quibbler'. It's fun to say out loud. Quibbler! [She chuckles.] I guess if it's a magazine your dad made, then that - yeah, that'd be a past thing alright! I guess that fits the bill.
creidim: (☾ 027)

[personal profile] creidim 2021-09-18 02:19 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Luna will... try her best not to stare too much and be polite. She's a rather curious soul. ]

Mm, exactly! [ She beams at the women in reply as she compliments the magazine. She's very proud of The Quibbler, and all her father's work with it. So she will take any and all positive feedback, even how fun the name of it sounds. It's far better than some of the comments she's had in the past. ]

A quibbler is someone who criticises. My dad strives to be a true voice, back home. The other newspaper is pretty much owned by our government, it's full of lies and sensationalism. [ Only really caring about how many copies it sells rather than integrity. So, yes. An alternative voice in the press. Luna exhales, smiling still: ] I guess I had to say goodbye to him, in a way. So I can make new path on my own by coming here. I suppose it's like when anyone leaves home behind when they're an adult.

[It's okay. At this point, she's used to getting various kinds of looks for her appearance, and she doesn't pay it much mind. Her attention is more focused on the magazine and her explanation.]

Wow, that is super interesting. Never knew it mean that! Guess that's the vocabulary word for today. It sounds like your dad did something really great. I know I could have really used something like that back home to help me sort out what's true and what's not!

[She chuckles nervously as she rubs at her other arm, thinking of the trajectory her life took from her time in the Horde to her role as a princess. Her smile grows softer.]

I see. I didn't realize that was a normal part of growing up! But I guess I've done something like that too. Moving on from those who raised me. It can be scary, but it also comes with growth and all that good stuff. Now I understand... That is a very sweet way of saying goodbye.

[personal profile] creidim 2021-09-22 08:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no. Is your government corrupt too—? [ 'Corrupt' is putting it lightly, really. Of course it's gotten worse over the last several years but technically it's now 'overthrown' with someone even worse in charge of it. Also, yes we are all about the learning here, Luna grins at that. New vocab words! ]

I suppose everyone does it in different ways, but yes. It's definitely scary, but I think it's one of those things that's scary in a good way? That's what it feels like for me right now. [ Even despite the fact this is a whole new world to get to grips with. Of course she's been a little anxious of what this place would bring, what would lie ahead but she has things that help that anxiousness. People she knows, and even Cynthia's here too. She'll be here for the Sleepers. ]

I thought so, too. [ She nods, smiling faintly. It is quite sweet, yes. ] Are you going to bury something?
cuddlery: (did i do that)

[personal profile] cuddlery 2021-09-23 12:05 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it's... how should I put this. [She pokes the tips of her pincers together sheepishly, as she tries to figure out how to put this.] I used to be part of this group called The Horde. For most of my life, really! They raise me and all, buuut it wasn't until a recent part of my life that I realized they weren't exactly what you'd call Good, and not all the things I was taught growing up were exactly the truth...? So, uh, something like that.

[Scary in a good way... Scorpia can understand that. It reminds of when she walked out on Catra and the Horde. It hurt and it was scary, but it felt like the right thing to do - and it led her life to so much of a better place. It was the end of one chapter of her life and the beginning of a new one. Just like now, in its own way. With that sentiment, a warmer smile comes to Scorpia's face, and she nods.]

Right. I think I know that feeling... and I'm ready to feel it too.

[She reaches into a her small satchel for the Horde communicator she has on her.]

Yep, that's the plan! I, I've got a piece of my past alright. And I'm ready to put it behind me.

Oh, I see—! [ So, not so much a government in the way she's thinking — but something similar, in a way. A group, she says. Luna nods in understanding. ] I suppose when you're brought up one way, it's difficult seeing how it might be bad when it's all you've known. It's very good you were able to see through it all, I imagine that must have been difficult for you.

[ Having one's entire world-view challenged like that. Luna thinks it speaks volumes of the woman to come through all of it. She grins encouragingly. ]

Let's go find a good spot, then! [ They can go bury their items together, that'd be nice, she thinks. Although she looks at the device the woman produces from her satchel with curiosity — she's not seen anything like that before—! ]

What is it—?
cuddlery: (fondly)

[personal profile] cuddlery 2021-09-30 04:59 am (UTC)(link)
[Well, the Horde tried to be a government of sorts... by trying to conquer everything!]

Yeah, that - that pretty much sums it up. Trust me, it was not easy! But eventually... things started to feel not right. [It was initially centered around Catra's behavior, but eventually she came to realize the whole Horde was bad. And that they had lied to her about what the Princesses were like.]

Yes, let's! A nice good patch of earth! [Scorpia will eagerly accompany her as they seek out the perfect burying spot! And she'll make sure the girl gets a good look at her communicator, which looks like some kind of a small badge.]

It's... a communicator. The one I used back when I was part of the Horde.

[ That is... not a government you want in charge. It's not too different from the Death Eaters, really. ]

I'm glad you managed to walk away from it. I imagine it's still a problem in your world, though? [ Much like the Death Eaters are still a problem for her, back home. But she's chosen to walk away from it, from the war. It's selfish in some ways, but the thought of dying when she has a chance of living her own life was something she wanted to do.

Luna leads the way, smiling. It's difficult considering there's so many flowers, or places where flowers used to be. But they'll find a good spot, there's plenty of room. ]

How curious! I've never seen a communication device like that! It's so compact! [ And she thought the Fluids and Omnis were fancy! ] Are you from the future? I know technology gets a lot better in the future.

{They have their similarities!]

I hope not? [She frowns as she considers that.] We kinda beat big bad person who was ruling it all. And a lot of the other Horde members have had a change of heart. So I, I think that's it for them. But I came here pretty much right after it all went down, sooo I guess I don't really know for sure? But I sure like to hope that's the end of them doing bad things!

[In any case, she follows Luna in search of the perfect spot and chuckles a little.]

No, no, I'm from the present. My... present. I'm not sure, what makes one from the 'future'? I guess some things at home can be a lot more advanced than stuff I've seen in this world...
creidim: commission, dnt (☾ 064)

[personal profile] creidim 2021-10-12 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
You did—? [ She's pleased with that, actually looks hopeful. It... really does hit close to home for her, even if she know she's chosen to leave it behind. Maybe... maybe things might be like that for her world too. She smiles faintly. ] I'm really glad, well— I hope that's how things have gone. It's... a bit like that for me too, back home. Things were coming to a head just before I ended up here.

[ Well, Deerington. Then here. ]

I don't know how it'll go, but I hope we win. [ That's if things haven't remained frozen in time. Cynthia had told them not to worry, they wouldn't be missed, things back home in their worlds would be alright — and she trusts her on that. She's never lied to them. ]

I suppose for someone like me, any time after the year 1998. That's how most people I know measure their time. [ She wrinkles her nose in amusement. ] A lot of people I know are from after that. Although some are from hundreds of years before me, too!

[ So really it just depends on how the woman measures time in her world. It could be different, who knows. There's a thoughtful hum before she turns expectantly, oh— yes, yes. This will do. She points to a spot of earth, plenty of room for both of them to do their rituals. ]

I feel this would be an excellent place.

[personal profile] cuddlery 2021-10-13 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
We sure did! It wasn't easy, but... the Horde's pretty much done for, now that Horde Prime's been defeated. [Even Hordak himself had a change of heart! So she's pretty hopeful about what's waiting for her back home.] Well... I hope things turn out for the best back at your home. I'm sure they will!

[She might have just met this girl, but she believes! Or maybe wants to believe. In any case, their old homes are out of reach now. What they have now are their lives here in this one. She pauses and nods along.]

Oh, okay. That does sound like the years I hear thrown around in these deer places! I mostly know the year system that the Horde tried to do, but that just kept track of the years they were around... I'm not really sure what the 'real' year number's supposed to be back home! [She shrugs. But then she lights up as they reach their piece of earth.]

Ooh, good eye! [She leans down beside the patch of her, eager to get started!] Yep, that - that looks like some good dirt alright!

[And also pretending she knows what she's talking about!]

I hope so too. [ Also Horde Prime. What a name. Not too far off Lord Voldermort. Luna wrinkles her nose and shakes her head. They always go for such silly names don't they? Showing they hold power. Quite ridiculous, really. ]

Doesn't that get a bit confusing, not really knowing what the date is back home? ... How do you know when it's someone's birthday? [ She's genuinely interested. What about people who were around before the Horde? Surely they've not been around for so long that there wasn't a time anyone remembers before they came around.

There's a grin when the woman agrees with her. She knew this was a good place to do their rituals! Luna crouches down into the dirt, rolling up her sleeves. ]

I suppose we'll just have to dig with our hands. [ And claws. ] At least it's not much digging to do.

[ Just a shallow little hole seems to do the trick. Enough to bury their items in. And neither of their chosen things seem all that big, which isn't so bad. Best get to it. She starting digging at the earth, scraping back soil and pulling it into a neat pile on one side. ]

Can you manage or would you like some help?

[ She doesn't know how easy it'll be to dig with claws. ]

[personal profile] cuddlery 2021-10-22 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
[They Who Must Not Name Themselves... Scorpia gives a little smile and a shrug at Luna's reaction.]

I, I guess it can get pretty confusing. I still know stuff like how long it was since I was born... Birthdays weren't really a thing back home, though. At least not in the Horde. They weren't big on celebrating things in general? Of course, I still tried to bring a celebratory energy to things here and there!

[She was pretty much living her own, happier version of Horde life... but she still wasn't really aware of birthdays as something to celebrate.

Scorpia crouches down as they prepare to dig. She has no problem with this herself, she's used to getting her claws dirty when working on something. She smiles in appreciation of Luna's offer.]

Thanks, but I'll be fine! I was actually going to offer to help you. These pincers can be a good for digging, from the right angle! [With that, she sticks a pincer into the dirt and starts digging her hole! At some points, she uses a pincer like an excavator and scoops up some dirt to put to the side!]
creidim: (☾ 082)

[personal profile] creidim 2021-10-28 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
There's no birthdays—!? [ Luna's appalled by the thought! This Horde truly is awful! Birthdays are such important days, they're special. Some more than others but each one is definitely an important one. There's a smile though: ] Good for you, though. People need reasons to cheer.

[ There's a pause, she frowns thoughtfully. ]

You should celebrate you birthday here in Trench. Maybe pick a date you like and choose that as your new birthday. Everyone should have a date where they especially celebrate themselves.

[ Why not? Everyone deserves a birthday. And she could pick whatever date she likes!

Luna watches her for a moment. She definitely can dig a lot better than she can. She's quite impressed! Hooray for pinchers! ]

Oh, that's so clever! [ She grins. ] What else are they especially good at?

[ Please indulge her, she's genuinely curious. ]

No parties, no. [She gives a little chuckle. The more she looks back, the more she can find to regret about her time with the Horde.]

You know, that's not a bad idea! I- maybe I will try to do one of those sometime. It's true, everyone should have to day to celebrate themselves! And I hope to help you celebrate yours too, whenever that is!

[Scorpia grins proudly while making good progress on her hole.]

Oh, a whole bunch of things! Cutting things, crushing things... a lot of variations on those two things... and other stuff too that doesn't come to mind at the moment! [She says with a sheepish chuckle. Living with pincers can come in handy, but it has its drawbacks too!]

You really, should! And you can pick whatever day you like, really.

[ She smiles brightly, uttering a soft little sound of amusement. Picking your own day! That's quite nice. ]

Oh—! Well, my birthday's February thirteenth which is... [ She thinks for a moment, counting on her fingers. ] Just under five months from now. Still quite a way's away.

[ She'll be twenty on her next birthday. Technically she's a bit younger than that, though. Biologically speaking. It was May in her world when she originally left and ended up in Deerington in October, and then there was a few months lost between Deerington and Trench. Time's weird like that. ]

Although this year I had a whole three days. It was my birthday on the thirteenth, and then Valentine's day and then half-price chocolate day. [ And it was over the course of a weekend. Truly the best weekend ever. ]

Should I ever need someone to help me cut or crush things, then I should know exactly who to ask. [ Luna says sagely, nodding. Once she's dug down into the dirt enough, she places her copy of the Quibbler inside of it before gently covering it up again and taking out a small butterfly knife from her pocket. ]

From what I've seen, you only need a little drop of blood.
cuddlery: (speaking)

[personal profile] cuddlery 2021-11-10 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
[She may actually know what day she was born, so there's that at least! So Scorpia listens excitedly to Luna as she describes her own birthday.]

Ooh, so you're more than halfway there! Go you! I am going to commit that day to memory and make sure I help you celebrate it! [Her grin widens as Luna goes on.] Three whole days? That's lucky. But you do seem like a great person, so you probably deserve at least three days! Oh and one of them's half-price chocolate day, that's like my favorite!

[Out of what 'holidays' she's experienced in this world...]

Exactly! Your friendly Scorpia here, at your service!

[She gives a salute, accidentally scattering some dirt around in the process.

Soon their holes have been dug deep enough, and Scorpia watches as Luna sets her own into motion, taking a last look at the magazine and then glancing at the knife she pulls out. Scorpia slowly nods.]

Right, that's what I was told. Try - try to take as little as you can. [She tries to advise her quietly, worried for her new friend.]

It was definitely a nice three days. I hope half-price chocolate day is a thing here, it's a very good day. [ Who doesn't like discount chocolate, after all? She and Ruby practically cleaned out the shelves this year. Chocolate comas absolutely happened, it was quite glorious. Luna smiles to herself for a moment, she's a really nice lady, she thinks. ]

Oh! [ Her name! There's a little giggle at the salute, not minding the accidental throwing of dirt. ] I'm Luna.

[ Luna nods at Scorpia's words, pushing the dirt back over the magazine to bury it before she wipes her left hand on her jeans. She carefully unfolds the knife and then brings it to her left index finger. There's a little wince as she slices into her finger, blood welling at the wound. ... oh, it smells odd. ]

... Does that smell like milk to you...?

[ That's weird. Better... keep going...? She holds her finger over the little mound of earth, silently speaking to herself. A promise of a new life, one for herself. A little drop of blood spills to the earth. Nothing happens for a long moment, Luna frowns.

And then, slowly, a little yellow flower blooms from the earth. Oh. It's... actually very pretty? ]

Oh, well that's nice.

I hope so too, I really want to celebrate it! [Things might work a bit differently here, but Scorpia will remain hopeful.]

Hi there Luna! It's good to meet you, and get to know you, and to share this moment with you!

[It feels better not to face this ceremony alone, so she's glad to have Luna around. She watches as Luna completes the ceremony, just looking away a little as the blood is released. ...And then she sniffs at the air a little.]

Y'know, now that you mention it? I see that. There is a kinda, a kinda milky smell to it. [She never thought blood could smell so pleasant, but here they are!

She watches patiently for a few moments before the flower sprouts up.]

Ooh! You did it, it really does work! And it's so pretty! Way to go, Luna.

It's nice not doing it alone. [ She smiles brightly. ] Thank you for letting me share it with you, too.

It's... a bit strange. My blood didn't smell like that before. [ She wraps her finger in a little handkerchief from her pocket to stop the bleeding, quite pleased with herself. She... doesn't feel any different, she thinks. But she knows this flower will be quite important. ]

I think I'll take it home. [ Which she will do in a bit, Scorpia still needs to finish her own ritual. She frowns thoughtfully at the woman for a moment. ]

I can't imagine cutting through pincer will be very easy. Maybe you could try making a little nick on your arm up here. [ She gestures to her upper arm before wiping off her little butterfly knife. ] You can borrow my knife if you'd like!

You're welcome, and - thank you, too? I think it's nice to share this moment with someone. To not have to face it alone.

[She says as she gives Luna a grateful smile.]

Oh wait, before now or before you this world? Because this world, y'know, I've come to understand it can change some things up with your blood! I know it's happened with me. Now my blood's all blue and icy... so don't be alarmed when it looks like that!

[She gives a soft chuckle. And she watches in approval as she decides what to do with her flower... but now it's Scorpia's turn. She looks down at the buried communicator and softly shakes her head at her offer, while waving a pincer in polite dismissal.]

I appreciate the offer, Luna. It is a really pretty knife! But I know how to do it, and I'm ready to do it myself. Watch out, here it goes!

[With that, she raises a pincer towards her upper arm, and she's able to use the pointy tip of the pincer to make a small cut on that fleshy upper arm of hers, just enough to bleed. Sure enough, it's cold blue blood that smells of smoke and freezes as it falls down to the dirt, and Scorpia looks down.]

...Farewell... Force Captain Scorpia.

[With that, she looks down, while a purple cosmos flower rises from the dirt.]
