[It's probably some cruel joke of fate that the Last Dragonborn is the kind prone to loud acts of fright. Maybe it's more ironic than anything else, that, when faced with some sudden, horrific thing, Melius' instinct has always been to scream.]

[He'd learned a long time ago to differentiate between scream and Shout, and that's about the only thing that keeps the nearby building from being bulldozed by a Fus Ro Dah.]

[This time, he just shrieks. He squirms. It's not nearly enough to get a wry, Argonian arm out of that horrible grasp. Though, fire does lick the edges of his jaws while he shrieks and writhes, it's not aimed at the man currently attached to his bicep.]
