Keith chuckled a little, but then nodded.

"My Paladin armor has jet packs, but they're not great for hovering in place for too long."

"Aww! I want a small jet pack."

Not that she had any room to complain when she had Owlbert.

"I can fly you up there, though, if you can keep your balance."

Keith looked up and then back at Luz, curious.

"Balance I'm good at." Keith knew he was agile without a doubt. He'd used it to his advantage a few times through his fights back home as a Paladin. "What were you thinking?"

Luz grinned. "Well."

She walked over to Eda's staff and hopped atop it, then made a motion for Keith to climb aboard. "I'll give you a boost!"

Keith raised an eyebrow at the staff.

"You sure?" He wasn't too certain that was going to hold both of them.

The two of them together was fine! Three would have been pushing it though.

"Owlbert will be good! Just make sure you stay balanced, ok?"

She patted the back of the staff.

"Okay..." Keith took a breath. At least Luz was small. He got on kind of gingerly, never having ridden a stick before... "Let's do this, then."

Staff. How dare you. Good thing Owlbert couldn't hear that.

"All right. I'm going to up slowly, and I'll just keep us afloat while you do your thing, ok?"

"Okay..." Keith wasn't sure about this, but... alright... hanging on.

Luz waited until Keith was good and comfortable, then slowly rose upward toward the desired spot. She had to keep the balance well, so she gripped the staff with her legs fairly tight, then steadied the staff enough to keep Keith from slipping.

"Work away!"

Right. Because this wasn't precarious... It wasn't like he had an actual seat or something. Asking her to move around as he progressed to various parts of the sketch was going to be kind of awkward, too. It had to be big... but she had agreed to do this, so might as well get started.

He did have good balance, at least, though leaning in to draw on a wall was a bit different than sitting still. And, every once in a while, he'd ask her to shift their position so he had better reach to certain spots. And while the initial sketch layout wasn't exactly the same as his drawing from before (he had to make those tweaks... it was a thing), he did eventually finish.]

You want to handle colors?

[Luz, for her part, was patient. While she loved to draw, she wouldn't have said that she was the best artist, so she was super happy to have Keith help her correct some of the tagging that her counterpart had made. Sure, she had to move around a little bit, so she didn't get any cramps, and moved when Keith asked her to, but otherwise Luz just loved watching him work.

Once he was done though, Luz brought him back down, flexing her arms a bit].

Oh, yes! Did you have any colors you specifically wanted me to use? I do want to stay true to your vision!

"I don't know," Keith admitted. "I mean, I had pictured it in my head with realistic colors, but it doesn't really have to be, right? I guess it depends if we want to stick to the idea of it being more realistic looking, or if we want to do something different... like neon or something." Lisa Frank deer? "I'm okay with either."

Luz's eyes shone at the idea. She hadn't gotten to really do anything that outlandish, she'd stuck to keeping things simple. Neon could even help at masking the tagging a bit better too!

"Neon sounds really fun! We should totally do that! With your permission, my good sir, may I make this awesome drawing even better?"

Keith was amused by her reaction and then nodded.

"Yeah. Go for it."

He was interested in seeing what she'd do with it.

((OOC: Ok, where Luz said "I can't cast without paper" earlier? Ignore that, it is totally false. She can draw ANYWHERE. I am not sure why I forgot that! I actually remember her doing this in Season 1 for Eda.))

"You got it!"

Luz was about to start thinking about colors and then it came to her. Of course! Why not go for something a little more in motion?

She took out the spray paint and started coloring in blue and green, and then she added a few new additions: her own light glyphs. When she finished, she tapped the picture and now the deer was lit up and every second leapt out at you and then back into the wall again.

"Now it's interactive!"

Keith watched her think and work, curious as to what she was doing with those glyphs as she cast them. It was just intriguing, really, to see how she took it, and the colors were pretty neat. It made it half mural, half graffiti, and Keith kind of liked that about it.

And then it jumped out at him.

"Woah!" He almost jumped a bit himself, blinking a few times to make sure he saw that properly. And then he chuckled a little sheepishly. "Wow... okay, that was cool."

[Luz couldn't help but marvel at her work. She hadn't done something with her light glyph quite like this since Deerington, and it was nice, to see what she did have life breathed into it like this. Keith's comment just made her even more pleased at how it turned out].

"Right?! It was the first spell I learned, and once I started to experiment with it I found out how much you could really bring out what I was doing! To tell the truth, I haven't done something like this so casually in a long time. At least it'll stand out now, right?"

"Oh, it definitely stands out," Keith said, but then laughed a little. "It's really cool. Awesome job." He gave Luz a small smile. "And definitely better than a bunch of tags with bad words. Easier than scrubbing them off, too."

"Thanks! I was trying to make sure that it had a bit of flair. You're really the star of the show, with your awesome drawing!"

Luz was a fair artist herself, but mostly kept her art in her room.

Keith looked a bit sheepish for a second and gave her a small smile.

"We did it together."

Luz nodded, smiling.

"We should do this again sometime!"
