[ He tips a head, lets his hand fall, though he doesn't let his guard down. He doesn't dare. ]

How many times you go through this circuit?

[Arthur's memory conjures up a hazy image of Raleigh all drugged up on his couch telling him about a guy named Dean. He almost asks, the big one or the little one?]

[But they can figure that out later.]

Maybe a dozen, all together. Mostly monsters.

[He glances up at the crowd, which is starting to get restless.]

If you're gonna attack me, you better do it soon.

He follows Arthur's look up to the crowd and squints; restless and bloodthirsty bitches, the lot of them. So eager to watch Sleepers try to kill one another. ]

I've found teaming up makes things a lot easier.

[Arthur thinks that's a matter of perspective, but he nods and sheathes his sword, then holds his hands up in the universal gesture of "I'm unarmed." He trusts his instincts well enough if this is a trick, but he doesn't think it is.]
