There's a corpse out there that he recognizes, and a corpse is scary, but the person is even scarier, and he doesn't know what to do about it. And Chuck is scared too, and Chuck is one of the bravest people Wu knows, and if he's scared that can't mean anything good. ]

It's...it's gotta be a hallucination. It isn't real. This is some Deerington fuckery.

[ That's exactly what this has to be - even if they're not in Deerington anymore, it seems like any city they wind up in is going to find a way to torment them, one way or another. ]

[ And yet, there's her corpse. Watching her die again in Deerington clearly wasn't enough. Now he has to see her dead, right there, in front of him.

He holds onto Chuck tighter, and at least his newfound powers might help Chuck calm down a bit, the power seeping through where they're touching. ]
