And this was the thing that tore it. It didn't matter if Minako was at a safe distance or not. Vira-Lorr thought she saw one of the moths drawing too close to her lover, and she snapped. People had warned her about the possibility of there being real danger in harming the moths. She'd managed to go back and forth on the corruption and hopelessness in this month, but all it took was seeing Minako even remotely close to one of those things and her most unhinged protective aspects came out.

She rushed forward, her blade out, a shell loaded into the gun. "Get away from her, you bitch!" she shouted, not even realizing the irony of the statement as she leveled the gun and took aim. "Minako, get down!"

Oh, this was not going to be good when she shot the moth, not in the slightest.
