Too Many Towels...
And so he did, and was rewarded as one of those lights passed dangerously close to him. It smacked him in the face, thick, wide and fluffy. There was a glimpse of the city of Asgard there, the home shown within viewing the far reaches of vast medieval city of muted colors. But what was disturbing was that the home had towels galore. So many towels. There were just so many glob damned fluffy towels everywhere in the house that they began to collapse out of the pathway and nearly drowned the troll in the process, along with oddly ... a pair of clawed gloves.
"Ah. I had forgotten where I put all these," he growled as the light sped off, turning to look at whatever person was now staring at a mountain of towels. "I require assistance."
All Work and No Play Makes Equius a Happy Troll
He was easy to find, and if you were working with him on anything, easy enough to work with, even if he was as usual kind of an uncomfortable and sweaty creature. Yet, for whatever reason, he seemed happy and sociable in his gruff way while he was working on something.
"Give me the spanner. I need to check the measurements on this device..."
Sweaty Idiot to the Rescue
That is, until he saw someone just standing there, looking transfixed, like something was fading in their eyes. He couldn't figure out what exactly that meant? But he knew it was trouble, and so the sweaty idiot charged in. Rather than attacking the moth like some lame-brained murderous sea-dweller, he opted to grab them by the waist and start running with them.
"Hold onto me if you want to live!" He might be a little overdramatic.
because the mental image is hilarious
It took him a moment to realise what was happening, and still dazed, he automatically held onto Equius as he was instructed to do. Not that it was entirely necessary with how easily the troll seemed to be carrying him.
Wait. Why... why was Equius carrying him? Did it have something to do with his very special interest in robots?
"What are you doing?" K finally asked in a baffled tone once his wits had returned to him.
priceless!
He might not really have been in tune with the concept of hope even when he had it.

There is no fear in this dojo!
So here he was in the dojo, either cleaning up and trying to do chores, or training with all of his off hours. A hundred push-ups. Fifty pull-ups. A hundred squat-thrusts. It was like watching a Hanz & Franz video, if one was being honest. Someone might want to remind him that he was supposed to be training in karate, not simply strength training.

Neopolitan | RWBY (OTA)
Hopelessness
Of course, there was a danger in this. One of them was dangerously close, unknown to her, and she could feel it. It was like a cold, icy finger clawing its way inside of her. She swallowed and her fingers flexed. Why did she feel so ... like everything was futile? Her eyes knitted and she frowned.
Maybe someone should get her to ... not stand here?
Stabbing Moths
It was at this point that she was standing there, brandishing a parasol as if it were a spear, between them and the moth. She was pushing one of those lights in their direction, but she looked like she was trying to decide if she needed to stab a moth.
Which... would be a very bad idea.

Wonderkind has an Admirer
She was so focused that she barely saw the meteor of light descending. When it was almost on top of her, it bathed her porch momentarily in light, just as another soul happened to stumble upon the sight. What was there didn't last for long, but it was ... definitely memorable. A man, standing in a gorgeous purple and red doublet with a mane of steel gray hair barked, laughing on the other side of the nimbus of light, making no effort to enter. "Haskill! Haskill! You're missing the show! Oh blast, it will be gone before you know it. Tut tut. But so good to see even you lovely mortals appreciate the aesthetic beauty of a good lark. And just for that, take this, the Wabbajack!"
"Ok, it's just a replica, but who's keeping track?" and the man hurled what looked like a stick with a screaming face at Vira-Lorr. She didn't have time to properly digest before it struck the vial, causing it to break the seal and spill its contents onto the gnarled wood, whose eyes glowed for just a moment. "You be a good little seer, whack a few knobs on the head with that. It'll show them a thing or two. And tell them Uncle Sheo said hi!" He was cackling, waving in some undefinable direction as the nimbus of light shifted and the ball passed on, leaving them standing there, Vira-Lorr holding the strange stick.
"What the hell just happened?" she said. "What did the blood do to this?" Did she even really want to know?
(OOC: Looks like the Wabbajack, but it's just a replica. Still, it's technically a weapon, as a cudgel, and it is now enchanted to cause madness when it strikes or shots at someone. Say thank you, Uncle Sheo.)
Migration Woes
These were not like Argonaut. They were anything but safe. What Vira-Lorr might not see, that it might have been possible her current companion might have noticed, was that the motes of light were being siphoned from her as well, the two not quite out of range yet. Her mood, and its steady worsening, were being pushed along by the moths themselves, as hopelessness began to settle in.

"Maybe we should move, huh?" He gave a subtle nod for her to look up. "Might be safer." For now. Once he was able to get his head back together, he was going to go back and see if he could catch more orbs, but a break would be good at the moment, he figured.

She was grabbing his arm, hustling. It was easy to get away from the thing, from its draining effect, but the fact that she was in this state was a bad sign that something wasn't wrong. It might not have been easily obvious, but Vira-Lorr without hope was a very angry person by nature. "We should hurry. I still don't know what to do about those ... things." She wasn't fully gone yet, but the effects were starting to show in her mood.

When Hope is Almost Lost (Body horror/acid blood)
"None of you are paying attention. Even if they seem harmless, they are not!" she said, not really noticing whether or not the other person was actually listening to her at the time. her hand shot out possessively, protectively. "Come with me," she hissed. "It isn't safe here."
Funny, there weren't any moths around.
(OOC: Vira-Lorr is severely corrupted at this point. I would prefer, however, that she manage to get ahold of a ball of light somehow, to begin repairing the damages. I have specific plans re: Beasthood this month. But we can definitely play around with corruption here.)

But while it isn't a surprise to see anyone like this during this month, it's still a surprise when Ange sees it happen to someone she's actually close to - and even moreso when she doesn't even have a moment to process the surprise, instead only barely managing to pull her arm away before Vira-Lorr latches onto it.
In any other situation she may have allowed it, but when the other clearly doesn't seem to be doing well, and doesn't seem to be making any sense either--
"Vira-- What do you think you're doing? Who are you talking about?!"
no subject
"The moths! People think they're harmless, but they're not! I can see it, see the harm that they do. I can see all of you transforming, turning into beasts, losing your minds! They have to be killed!" Of course, she didn't seem to realize that her vision wasn't showing her what would happen if that occurred.

"Get away from her!" - Closed to Minako Aino
She rushed forward, her blade out, a shell loaded into the gun. "Get away from her, you bitch!" she shouted, not even realizing the irony of the statement as she leveled the gun and took aim. "Minako, get down!"
Oh, this was not going to be good when she shot the moth, not in the slightest.
(OOC: Just let me know if you prefer corruption or beast-mode for this, or if y you want a different prompt)

At least until she had been told to get down. Confused she looked to see what the other was doing before ducking. She had a gun and she wasn't just ging to stand there when she could accidently get her or something.
"Vira, what are you doing? They haven't done anything."
