Everyone else who was there fled as quickly as they could while she brought her clawed hands down, turning to regard Minako. Eyes narrowed and it let out a high-pitched sound. At the moment? She seemed to recognize her, which was probably a good thing. Still, nothing about her showed that she was able to communicate back with her lover. She was just staring at her in that strange, unnatural way.
And then, she lunged. Her body carried forward, one clawed arm reaching outwards, attempting to catch Minako in the midriff and grab hold of her.

"Vira, please stop and listen. I don't want to hurt you."

Turning her head towards her, those three alien eyes stared at Minako beadily, the snarl going again. A scream in the distance of someone that saw her caused her head to whip in there direction. her tail lashed in an animated, angry, nervous way not unlike a cat's reaction to the unexpected. She stared in that person's direction and looked about to charge them before looking back at Minako. for just a moment, she seemed almost trapped, trying to decide between attacking and getting Minako away.
So, instead she settled on roaring, arms held wide. The hissing sound she let out definitely had the native running for the hills.

But with the roaring Minako covered by her ears. It was certainly something, but she wanted to at least make sure that no one got hurt. So when she could see someone she looked over.
"Please keep away, okay? I have it handled." Which was honestly a lie but at least a couple people headed off before she turned her focus back on her partner.
"Lets go someone where there is less people. Maybe I can help you... I don't know how, but I can try."

She loped over again, though this time it was a slower motion. One arm went wide, clawed hand reaching for Minako's waist. It was... in so far as this creature was capable of being, a gentle motion. Cautious.

SO far so good, but she definitely felt like that woman who was kidnapped by a giant gorilla, minus the huge tower.
She just had no idea where she was going to be taken.

When she arrived at the home, though, her tail moved with greater precision, wrapping around the knob and pushing the back door open. The familiarity of the setting was juxtaposed by the angry monster trying to push her into the back mud room, its motions insistent and agitated. It had to get her out, away from the possibility of the butterflies finding her.

Bit that might take a while and a tiny bit of wriggling as she tried to get it. Though a small part of her was worried about what might happen if she thought she was trying to escape though.

Vira-Lorr was blocking the way through into the kitchen and leaning forward, just past Minako. Another hiss and gunk splattered up along the seams of the door, hardening and starting to form into a thick, chitinous substance that was doing an effective job of sealing the entryway, making sure that nobody was passing through that passage. It was a good way to make sure she knew the only way out, one way for dangers to approach.
no subject
She frowned slightly as she went to check before moving to head towards a window to check that instead.
no subject
At least she seemed only aware of the more obvious physical methods of getting out.
no subject
Running over, Minako moved to fiddle with the window, finally getting it open as she looked back. She felt like she only at best didn't have long...
no subject
She couldn't have that.
Splattering fluid came flying out, aiming to gunk up and latch Minako at the waist to the wall. She kept her face dangerously close to her lover's. The threat wasn't desired, but hopefully it would keep her still so she could get the gunk to harden and keep her trapped there. She just needed her to not try and run away for a while. Then she could think of how to properly protect her.
no subject
In her mind it wasn't about trying to escape for the sake of it and leaving them alone. She wanted to try and get help to deal with the situation in the best way possible. Maybe people she knew since Minako wasn't sure if she alone could egt through since she seemed to be the target.
So with much fiddling of the device she was finally able to get a message across and really... hope that whoever does answer will be able to do something.
no subject
For now, however, she was moving from window to window, ensuring that nothing else could get in. It gave Minako time, time to send the message out, at the very least.
(OOC: Do you want to fast-forward to after she's back to herself or play this out a little more?)
no subject
That had certainly been a situation. Minako how free was dusting herself off for a moment before going over to where her partner was.
"Hey Vira... I would ask if your okay but the answer is pretty obvious."
no subject
"I'm... more myself than I was only an hour ago, yes," she murmured, glancing over but not quite able to look at her lover. "I... didn't hurt you, did I?"
no subject
"No, at best you made me sticky, but thats about the worse of it."
no subject
"Good. I'm glad," she breathed out a sigh of very obvious relief. "I... wasn't ... This isn't what I intended. I didn't know that they had that protection on them."
no subject
So no one could have really known. For Minako she just didn't feel like they had been much of a threat and why she didn't deal with them herself. Though what they do isn't great, but they weren't physically attacking either.
"But its something to learn and move past."
no subject
"I'm glad I have you, Minako... You can be a steadying influence at times like this." Among so many other things.
no subject
Probably to focus more on what she needed to and put hunting on the backburner right now. Venus wasn't needed currently.
"I am many a thing, Vira~ I can be whatever it is you need me to be."
no subject
She smiled sadly over at her and reached out a hand to take the back of her lover's, closing her eyes. "Just ... don't forget that you can rely on me too." A pause and a cough before she smiled sadly. "though today? I need to do the relying. I don't want to hold you back or cause you trouble. We can be there for each other." It was important to her own self-image to remind herself that, despite this failing, this moment of weakness, she was still there for those she cared for.
no subject
"Even after this if I need your help, I will let you know."
no subject
"Thank you. I think... I think I really wanted to hear that." Because it was a reminder that any harm today caused, it was in the end a temporary thing. They could and would get past it all.
