Minako struggled with trying to escape the grasp. It was pretty tight, so when that failed she figured defeat for now, but maybe, just maybe she might be able to grab her device.

Bit that might take a while and a tiny bit of wriggling as she tried to get it. Though a small part of her was worried about what might happen if she thought she was trying to escape though.

When the door slammed behind her, Vira-Lorr used the tail to lock it behind and snarled around before dropping Minako to her feet. She would have the chance there, on her feet, to grab her device... mostly because the beast seemed to be unaware of exactly what it was, or what impact it might have. Also, she was ... busy.

Vira-Lorr was blocking the way through into the kitchen and leaning forward, just past Minako. Another hiss and gunk splattered up along the seams of the door, hardening and starting to form into a thick, chitinous substance that was doing an effective job of sealing the entryway, making sure that nobody was passing through that passage. It was a good way to make sure she knew the only way out, one way for dangers to approach.

Minako slowly went to grab her device so that now was safely in her hand for just in case, but as she looked around she started to see if she could maybe find a way out but it seemed like the way they came in was out.

She frowned slightly as she went to check before moving to head towards a window to check that instead.

Vira-Lorr, meanwhile, was focused on every form of exit. As soon as she caught sight of Minako looking at the window, she misinterpreted that, worried the bugs could get in that way. More of the strange fluid flew, starting to coat it while she completely ignored the device in her girlfriend's hands. It was starting to harden into a strange, thick, rubbery and chitinous gunk that covered the entries as she worked feverishly, one eye continuing to check to make sure Minako wasn't making a break for it.

At least she seemed only aware of the more obvious physical methods of getting out.

Welp she really felt like she shouldn't make it obvious, but really what else could she do. She had a back up in case she honestly couldn't find a way out and there was only one window left from what she could gather. So best thing to do was to try and make a break for it now.

Running over, Minako moved to fiddle with the window, finally getting it open as she looked back. She felt like she only at best didn't have long...

Clawed hands whipped. When Minako was fiddling with the window they reached and grabbed for her shoulders, aiming to twist the senshi around. That face was right there in front of her, quivering, snarling, growling. Damnit, she was going to keep trying to do this, wasn't she? To break free? Vira-Lorr couldn't have that. No. If she kept trying, she'd get out there, and the butterflies...

She couldn't have that.

Splattering fluid came flying out, aiming to gunk up and latch Minako at the waist to the wall. She kept her face dangerously close to her lover's. The threat wasn't desired, but hopefully it would keep her still so she could get the gunk to harden and keep her trapped there. She just needed her to not try and run away for a while. Then she could think of how to properly protect her.

It went about as much as she figured really and now being unable to move and the other being really close that Minako had to turn her head for a moment. At least she managed to get her device as that was the only option she had left.

In her mind it wasn't about trying to escape for the sake of it and leaving them alone. She wanted to try and get help to deal with the situation in the best way possible. Maybe people she knew since Minako wasn't sure if she alone could egt through since she seemed to be the target.

So with much fiddling of the device she was finally able to get a message across and really... hope that whoever does answer will be able to do something.

There was a moment where the threat was very real, but once she was sealed to the wall properly and not going anywhere, Vira-Lorr stepped back. She looked at her carefully and then nodded, proceeding to focus on the windows, the various entries into the house. She couldn't truly understand Minako's motives right now... But she would understand them far better later, after people got her out of this mental state.

For now, however, she was moving from window to window, ensuring that nothing else could get in. It gave Minako time, time to send the message out, at the very least.

That had certainly been a situation. Minako how free was dusting herself off for a moment before going over to where her partner was.

"Hey Vira... I would ask if your okay but the answer is pretty obvious."

Vira-Lorr was currently on the couch at this point. Their savior had departed now that she was herself, sitting with an empty mason jar that had been filled with the recuperative lake water in it. She was robed in a simple bathrobe and a little hunkered down.

"I'm... more myself than I was only an hour ago, yes," she murmured, glancing over but not quite able to look at her lover. "I... didn't hurt you, did I?"

Minako was making a mental note that she probably really will need a shower later, or at least to wash herself as she went to go sit down.

"No, at best you made me sticky, but thats about the worse of it."

Oh definitely a shower. They both needed one after this ordeal. But at least that was the worst of it right now. God, she didn't look up to the clear the mess out of hte house.

"Good. I'm glad," she breathed out a sigh of very obvious relief. "I... wasn't ... This isn't what I intended. I didn't know that they had that protection on them."

"I know it's not what you intended, no one really expects that of all things to happen. I mean here we deal with beasts all the time after all."

So no one could have really known. For Minako she just didn't feel like they had been much of a threat and why she didn't deal with them herself. Though what they do isn't great, but they weren't physically attacking either.

"But its something to learn and move past."

She breathed in and out slowly and finally leaned in closer to Minako, allowing herself to sigh, to shudder and to start to unclench and relax very slightly. "I know... I know... and I intend to learn from it. I don't want it to ever happen again. I'm probably going to need to rest for a day or two after this," she said softly. "And I'm going to stay inside most of the time, until they're gone. It's clear now. I can't trust myself in dealing with this problem. Someone else will have to."

"I'm glad I have you, Minako... You can be a steadying influence at times like this." Among so many other things.

Minako stayed quiet for the time being, letting the other speak and say what she wanted all the while a few thoughts going through her head. For one that it is nice to know there are ways of dealing with it without resorting to killing at least. That she was going to keep in mind and the other of what her next steps might be now.

Probably to focus more on what she needed to and put hunting on the backburner right now. Venus wasn't needed currently.

"I am many a thing, Vira~ I can be whatever it is you need me to be."

Venus would always be powerful, and an ally in a pinch, but she wasn't wrong. There was a real power in having friends willing to take risks and seek for ways to calm, to humanize those who were in the midst of their monstrous throws. Minako was, herself, as powerful as Venus in this.

She smiled sadly over at her and reached out a hand to take the back of her lover's, closing her eyes. "Just ... don't forget that you can rely on me too." A pause and a cough before she smiled sadly. "though today? I need to do the relying. I don't want to hold you back or cause you trouble. We can be there for each other." It was important to her own self-image to remind herself that, despite this failing, this moment of weakness, she was still there for those she cared for.

"Of course, I would never forget that." She knew to always rely on her friends for anything, after all she knew they could help her if needs be, although there are certain parts when she might not depending on the situation. She moved her hand to grip the others a small smile on her face.

"Even after this if I need your help, I will let you know."

Vira-Lorr looked positively on the verge of tears when Minako said that. Did she really need that reassurance to know in principle that her lover would still come to her? No. She 'knew it, and deep down there was no need to be sure, but hearing the reassurance now, of all times, it made her rest her head against Minako's shoulder, a short sob breaking out and settling.

"Thank you. I think... I think I really wanted to hear that." Because it was a reminder that any harm today caused, it was in the end a temporary thing. They could and would get past it all.

Minako just sat there content with the moment for what it was. The peace at the end of what was a rather stressful day that had been full of unexpected twists and turns. But they had at least made it even if Minako felt like that she really didn't do much beyond asking for help.

"For now though, we can just sit here and relax until we fall asleep."

"..." And suddenly the offer from Minako seemed to sink in. Vira-Lorr hadn't even considered this? She was so tired she hadn't even thought about getting sleep. Her arms tightened and then relaxed. "That... sounds like a wonderful idea, Minako." She managed to get that out before she was already starting to doze off, because she was just so very tired at this point.

She nodded slightly, moving to stand up. She was at least planning on staying the night herself even with what had happened. After all she didn't know if the other might need help in anyway.

SO she extends her hand out for them to take if needed.

Vira-Lorr took the hand and curled her arm around Minako's waist, all too willing for her to lead up to the bedroom. They could finish the cleanup later. Right now, the fact that she was willing to stay, to remain all night? It caused any lingering concern or corruption to fade, and it just made Vira-Lorr feel good inside, even considering everything else.

"Thank you, Minako. I love you."

"And I love you to"

As much as a lot went on, Minako knew to at least be forgiving in this instance because it was a unlucky situation rather than one trying to intentionally cause the situation.

"And no matter what else comes that won't change."

"You're right. That won't change no matter what they do. I will always love you," she whispered, resting her head on her shoulder as they headed up the stairs. God, it had been a long day.
