he has his whole life ahead of him and more, even if looks can be deceiving— amaterasu is as old as the sun and the origin of what is good itself; she would consider everyone younger than her.

but, this garden is turning out lovely. amaterasu even helps a few saps that are only perhaps in need of a little trim or sprucing up— and they bloom with life. that's what this house can remind him of, maybe. life of those he loved, not the lost. because the lost can always be found, no? ]
