There's an aborted, breathy noise that might've been a huff of laughter, abruptly silenced like it was dangerous to be let out at all. Then another. And then Bruce's arms are wrapping tight around Blake's middle and he hides his face against the other's neck, the scared and relieved laughter both giddy and nervous, potentially accompanied by a few tears that threaten to spill from his eyes but neither of them are going to address that, are they?
"I know this place probably isn't gonna be better than Deerington, but... I'm so glad you're here," he admits weakly.
