"Ufufu, Miss Ange, good day," Sheryl chortles. Cheerful and serene as always, she smiles at the girl over her teacup. "But of course you may join us. I imagine you've come to make sure our Xerx-dear is behaving himself, haven't you?"
"Tch! So mean," Break says warmly as he rolls out of his own chair to pull another out for Ange to sit down in. He does always mind his manners noticeably more in front of Sheryl, but it's not as though he doesn't spoil Ange with such things otherwise too, if only to fluster her.
The duchess chuckles a little more as she watches them. She enjoys seeing them together. She's the one person he's told most everything to for almost half his life now, and so of course she knew within hours of her arrival here that Break had attached himself to another lonely young lady, and fancied himself her "uncle". To that end, Sheryl has been just as warm and welcoming to Ange as she has been to her own family from the very start, and if she thinks Break is still "a big brother who can't bear to be parted from his little sister", she has kept it to herself. The time he had to spend alone in this place must have worn on him horribly, and Sheryl is pleased he found people who could take care of him while the rest of them caught up.
