[ made up alien drinks, may she add! she takes a sip of her margarita and pulls a face. it's definitely sweet, but it's a nice reminder that she's still here and she can make a mean margarita with the click of her fingers. ]
It's very important for life lessons and teamwork.
[ and about love and friendship and all of that. wanda likes it for the message that sometimes people need to move on, the sometimes you outgrow relationships. she thought it was a good movie for the boys.
instead of telling him that, she merely smiles. ]
Like working on a car together.
[ perhaps it's time she tries and summons that car? she's feeling a little confident now. ]
[ it was, which is why wanda had chosen to invite him over. she thinks that she can bring it back. and if she brings it back, she wants to be able to work on it straight away, get him to check it and make sure it's not missing anything vital that he remembers it having.
she's not a mechanic. she's a creator. she needs amos to help her ensure she hasn't fucked this up, too. ]
[ that had been the car she had wanted when she had appeared in deerington. it's the car that she's been learning how to fix and build. while a car is merely a car, she likes the one she had. ]
And I can do it. [ she smiles at him, cocks her brow. ] Are you scared?
[ wanda doesn't say she asks because everyone she's come across is afraid of her. westview, the people of lagos. she wouldn't be surprised if sokovia was, too.
with a smile and a dismissive wave of her hand, ] It's fine. I'm going to bring the car and you can check and see if it has everything inside of it.
[ she'll be disappointed if it comes without its engine. ]
[ she thinks to tell him how she can bring it back, but she forgoes it for now. it's convoluted. wanda knows that she can bring anything to life if she so much as wills it. bringing vision back to life from nothing but memories had been something she knows now as very powerful.
bringing the car back should be easy in comparison. ]
[ wanda shakes her head. she's the scarlet witch. she can take on an infinity gauntlet wearing mad titan and make him call for a blitz. she can take over an entire town.
she can pull a car from deerington.
surveying the ground, she taps her finger against her chin. ]
[ wanda can feel his trepidation at the idea of her bringing forth the car, but she knows she can do it. she can do anything. it's what the dark hold had told her, and it's what pietro's voice tells her. his faith has never wavered, not even in death.
glancing at amos, she looks down at the ground. it's just grass, bright green and thick. she needs to mow it. holding her hands out, palms facing down, her fingertips begin to glow red. it's slow moving, how they intensify. her eyes glow red as the crown begins to form on her head.
all wanda is is a big glow of red, it beginning to almost stain the world around them.
it takes a moment and a tug of her hands. the car feels as it should, and when she summons it forward, it appears in a glow of red on the grass, with all of its exterior bits still intact even despite the unnatural witchy glow. ]
( he really doesn't understand her attachment to the car but it's not like he can stop her either. she's going to do what she's going to do and he's going to have to hope that it doesn't hurt her.
so, he stands back and watches, watches her glow and, after a moment, watches her pull a damn car out of nowhere. his mouth tips open and he stares at it and then he just curses under his breath.
[ it has all four wheels—rims, too—and its front lights. she imagines it has its backlights, too, but she begins to walk towards the trunk of the car to check. the car is as perfect (and shoddy) as it was back in deerington.
as for wanda, the red of her magic fades away, her eyes turning back to normal. the car tingles with red until it seems to slip away from it and disappear into the grass. she doesn't act like she's done something that should be impossible. ]
( it should look how she thinks it should look. he walks around it and nods because it looks pretty good in his eyes. red because of the magic but nothing else out of place. )
[ he's very annoying, but wanda does as he suggests. she walks around the car, looking at it, reaching out to brush her fingers against the trunk. it looks as it had before, halfway on its way to being a little more brushed up and clean around the edges. there's still a deep scratch on the back door that had been there before. the tyres still look like they've been in a fight.
she comes to stand at the front of the car with her hands on her hips. ]
The outside looks as it should. [ she smiles up at him and tries to tame her excitement. ] Do you think we should take it for a drive?
( he doesn't even know if this garbage car works. she might have brought it through but still. he steps closer and puts a hand on it. solid. it's an actual car. )
How the hell did you pull this through from a city that existed in a dream?
no subject
( amos shrugs. they had a lot of shit in space that he didn't pay much attention to. )
It's not really my type of drink. Too sweet.
( and colorful. )

[ made up alien drinks, may she add! she takes a sip of her margarita and pulls a face. it's definitely sweet, but it's a nice reminder that she's still here and she can make a mean margarita with the click of her fingers. ]
Why the colour blue? Is it your favourite colour?
no subject
I could take it or leave it. I don't know if I'd call it my favorite color but it's a good color.
( and it sounded cool for an alien drink. )
Though it would seem more alien than anything else.
no subject
[ not quite alien, then again, is any colour an alien colour? ]
I always thought an alien colour would be green. That's how they always were in the vending machine in Toy Story.
no subject
( little green men or big green men or whatever. it's cliché and therefore, not something that amos is going to go for. )
I don't know what a Toy Story is, though.
no subject
ensuring her face is as blank as she can manage, she feigns seriousness. ] I'll show you one day. It's a very important movie.
[ very, very important. ]
no subject
( with a name like toy story, he's not sure he believes her. )
And why's that?
no subject
[ and about love and friendship and all of that. wanda likes it for the message that sometimes people need to move on, the sometimes you outgrow relationships. she thought it was a good movie for the boys.

( he does mean that even if it wasn't his fault. he had no idea what deerington chose to bring and chose to leave behind. )
It was going well while we were working on it.

I think I can bring it here.
no subject
( he doesn't want her to hurt herself or cause any kind of weird...thing to happen here. this place is already weird. )
I'm sure we could find another car and fix it up or something. Save you the trouble.
no subject
[ that had been the car she had wanted when she had appeared in deerington. it's the car that she's been learning how to fix and build. while a car is merely a car, she likes the one she had. ]
And I can do it. [ she smiles at him, cocks her brow. ] Are you scared?
no subject
( he hadn't been scared in a long, long time. )
No, I'm not scared. But I don't want you messing anything up with this place either. Or getting someone's attention on you that could be bad.
no subject
with a smile and a dismissive wave of her hand, ] It's fine. I'm going to bring the car and you can check and see if it has everything inside of it.
[ she'll be disappointed if it comes without its engine. ]
no subject
( he's not afraid but he's a little nervous about what she's going to do. )
I just don't think you need to do it.
no subject
bringing the car back should be easy in comparison. ]
I want to finish the car. Don't you?
[ don't you, amos? are you a non-finisher? ]
no subject
( it's just a dumb car. they can get another car. it's not that important. )
I don't want you to get hurt.
no subject
I won't get hurt.

Do you think here is a good car spot?
no subject
It's fine.
( because she's going to do it no matter what. so, he just gestures at the spot and nods. )
no subject
