[He sits down as she goes right back to sleep, both a little impressed and a bit annoyed at her complete lack of concern about the situation.

Exactly two minutes later, she'll be woken by a very loud caw, directly in her ear, but there will be no bird still there when she actually looks.]

Morning, sunshine. Come on, let's go.

[opheliac]

(the caw startled the heck out of her as she sits up really abruptly.)

Shit!!

(frantically, she searches around for that said bird but only thing she sees is the guy from before. with a huff, her eyes narrowing daggers:)

The hell is your problem, huh?! — Do that to me again and I promise there will be a grenade stuffed in your pillow.

[He could defend himself here, but honestly, he Tried being reasonable, so now it's time to be insufferable! The important part is getting out of the forest before one or both of them get killed.]

I don't know what you're talking about.

[opheliac]

... Just for that, I think I'll crawl back to sleep. You just ruinin' your shot.

(why yes, she is that ballsy and will go back on her word as she lies right back on the grass. this time, however, not actually sleeping but relaxing with her hands behind her head.)

[He shrugs, turning around and making as though he is going to walk away, before he picks up one of Jinx's legs and just starts pulling it along as though she is a person-shaped suitcase.]

lmao are you kidding? this is lovely.

(finally, jinx manages to get this stranger to buzz off. except suddenly, she is getting dragged across the grass by her leg. she exclaims out a yelp and then shoots a death glare.)

What the — Hey! LET GO OF ME...!!

(she can very easily just kick him or yank her leg out of his grasp. this isn't the first time she's been grabbed by her legs by someone (usually her enemies). but she is just so gosh darn exhausted that putting in the effort into trying to break away from this is too much. so... off she goes getting dragged along the earth -- staining her pajamas and dirt all in her hair.)

[For his part, Qrow just keeps walking, not even looking back in her direction. Is he even going the right way? That's a problem for later.]

What's the problem? I thought you were going back to sleep.

[opheliac]

The next change I get, I'm going to kill you!!

(while the object in her pocket seem to be glowing so it seems so far they are going in the right direction. but over time, it begins to fade just a bit. maybe they need to make a left or right return somewhere.)

I'd really rather you didn't try to do that, actually. It'll be such a huge pain in the ass to deal with, and then you'll end up involving a whole mess of other people who'll be pissed, and we all kind of just went through a whole month of revenge-drunk bullshit nobody needs a sequel to.

[Alas, Qrow has not quite noticed the change in the Shiny Thing during this exchange. He still has no idea where he's supposed to be going.]

... You're goin' the wrong way.

(she will ignore everything he just said to her and will be a backseat driver instead. if he chooses to look back at her, jinx will now have the object in her hand that she pulled out during his ranting.)

[He pauses. Turns s l o w l y. Squints at the shiny object.]

Have you ... had that the whole time?

[opheliac]

Yeah? And? What's it to you?

(she carelessly tosses the object up as if playing catch with herself. but don't worry, jinx makes sure she gets a hold of it when gravity decides to sink in.)

....That shows the way out, right? You had it all this time and you were just gonna sleep in here?

[why. there are so many nicer places to sleep that aren't likely deathtraps.]

Movin' around for who knows how long sounds like a lotta work to me.

(besides the situation she was/is in would had worked out on its own eventually. at least, that's what she believes.)

Who says I'm gonna die? I'm just sleeping. It takes a lot to kill me, bucko.

(jinx now decides to take the time to really get a good look at this stranger.)

— I'm gonna guess you're easy? You whine enough to be.

[BROTHERS this kid is infuriating.]

Gonna go out on a limb and guess you're new, huh?

[Honestly, if she didn't have the Shiny Thing, this would be the point where he'd be sorely tempted to throw his hands up and walk away.]

You mean give it a few months and I'll rock this city's world? Then YEAH! That's definitely gonna happen, Captain.

(a beat.)

[Drawled out in the flattest, laziest note possible, though he does take the turn when she suggests it.]

Are you going to make me keep dragging you?

Sheesh, I dunno. Are my eyes pink?

(he has a small point. the twigs and dirt are getting all over her pajamas and hair. but she'll just shower later. maybe. or she will just sleep while being filthy. a little dirt doesn't hurt anyone.)

[He'll just! keep dragging!! And if occasionally he drags her over a rock or a particularly large tree stump, well. He DID ask.]

(WHELP. she thought this was going to be a pleasant ride but with the rock and/or a FUCKING TREE STUMP (which she had to jerk her body to avoid), there's finally some movement for her. jinx attempts to yank her legs out of his grasp.)

Hey, WATCH IT! — If you're gonna pay attention where we're goin' then don't drive at all...!!

[Here's the thing: he's absolutely doing this on purpose. Normally? He's so hypervigilant about this sort of thing he could potentially warn her about a falling acorn.

He tried to play nice!! But now he is going to play like an asshole, and make no effort to stop her from yanking.]

You could always try, you know, walking. I hear it's good for your health.

Fine! Let go so I can freakin' walk...! Uuughh!

(this stranger sucks so many eggs. with her arms cross, she will lie there and wait for him to let go of her legs so she can scramble up to her feet. she guesses!!!

but will she move afterward that? only time will tell with this girl. and will they ever make out of the forest? there is a big chance the two of them will be here all night.)
