[Usagi was very used to her blood type causing her to glow. She was used to glowing even WITHOUT her blood type thanks to a DIFFERENT ability. So glowing, while annoying, was not something difficult for Usagi to deal with.

She was doing her own shopping for the upcoming winter when she heard her name being called. She looked up and smiled brightly at Anakin Jr.]

Anakin! Long time no see!

[ He gives her a small smile but looks a bit worried. ]

Yeah. I assume the glowing is Trench-related?

[ It might not be, but she's never done it before (as far as he knows) so... ]

Ah, yeah... If I bleed during a full moon I do the same thing, but now I'm my own personal nightlight this month. Don't even have to turn on the lights when I shower in the morning or at night.

It doesn't make it hard to sleep?

[lightthedarkness]

Not at all, I can sleep through the apocalypse if I wanted to. [She winks.] But catch me at the right time and I can glow even MORE than this.

[ Color him interested. He'd thought Usagi was a normal human, but 'normal' is a bit relative here, he supposes. ]

Oh yeah, I'm a super heavy sleeper! I sleep through almost all my alarms. It usually takes mama yelling at me or Luna biting me for me to wake up.

[Is Usagi aware that's not what he meant? Yes. But vague questions get to have vague answers.]

[ 'Luna biting me.' He hopes she's talking about a small animal.

Then you should be more specific.

Are you going to tell me why you glow? Secret powers, maybe?

[ He's teasing. He doesn't know there are powers involved at all, but he used to glow whenever he used the Force as a kid, so it's not a stretch, really. ]

[lightthedarkness]

If they were secret powers, wouldn't telling you no longer make it a secret?

[ Well, she's got him there. ]

[ If she does have special powers and wants to keep them to herself, who is he to pry?

That is, assuming she has any to begin with that aren't Trench-related. ]

[She's dealt with enough Force users to know once he meets Sailor Moon he's going to find out fast enough what she means by special powers. She's never been able to hide behind the magical glamour with a Force user.]

About as well as you can be when living a place actively trying to kill you.

[ Anakin can't help but snort. ]

You're still alive, so I think you have the upper hand over the Trench.

Well, it can do worse things, it can take away the people I love.

[ Anakin can't help but wince, recalling their conversation from months ago. ]

Yeah. Yeah, you're right.

[ At this point, he's lost people too. He just tries not to think about it too much. ]

Right, so... um... sorry. [She smiles but there's a sadness to it.]

How about you?

I feel okay, considering I spent a month in a weird goo cocoon. My sister gave me an earful when I woke up.

.... Wait, you have a SISTER?! Is she as pretty as you?

[hopesparks]

[ Anakin looks startled for a moment before he laughs. ]

She's prettier. And usually she's my older sister, but the Trench messed with our timelines.

Well, time is funky in any case even not when dealing with beings like the Pthumerians.
