A family holo I made a few years ago. It was in my bag when I got here.

[ The construction of the disk is careful and neat and, once activated, the image is clear and precise.

But it's what's in the image that matters-- his mother with a bright twinkle in her eye that she gets when she's pleasantly surprised, his father with his trademark smirk that's softened at the edges with fondness, and his brother and sister both with smiles on their faces. ]

[ Luke stared at it for a long moment, his expression shifting from surprise to a sort of saddened happiness. Leia and Han looked so happy, happier than he had ever seen the two of them. And Jaina and who had to be Jacen... they were lovely, the spirit of their parents. ]

[ ...it took him a moment to realize a few tears had escaped, and he reached up with his gloved hand to wipe them away. ]

[ He's a little startled to see his uncle crying. He thought Uncle Luke would've smiled or started asking questions.

But then it clicks. ] You must miss them.
