[ Sasuke's rubbing his hands together a little, not wanting to waste all of his chakra on keeping warm with fire jutsus. The friction is barely making a dent in the icey feeling spreading into his finger tips, though, and he sighs as he goes to try and round his way into what seems like a courtyard protected from the wind.

It's then that he hears the muffled crying somewhere nearby and while he does his best to tell himself it's not his problem, he's not quite as jaded as his elder self, so it ends up not settling well to just ignore it. Sasuke starts to look around the courtyard until he notices the small head of pink hair that reminds him somewhat of home.

He went over, cautious at first, before he's sure of it. It's the weird girl who sits next to him at the Academy. Who was she again? He frowns, the name not coming to him, but he's not going to ignore that there's someone else from Konoha here. That's a good sign. ]

Hey. Stop crying.

[ Alright, he's never been the best at comforting. ]

[ The interruption causes her to pause and she lifts her head, quickly wiping at her eyes because she doesn't want to be seen crying. She's shocked to see it's not just anyone who is talking to her, it's Uchiha Sasuke. Her eyes widen as she realizes it's him and she all and she jumps up, squeaking as she does so.

Her cheeks turn red and she pats them to try and calm herself down. ]

Sasuke...kun?

[ Of course she knows his name just fine. She's always looked at him with that same wide-eyed expression, and he's always wondered if the blush was a permanent fixture on her. He sighs, going to reach his hand out to her so she'll stand up. ]

It's too cold to be moping outside.

[ Where he was concerned it probably was.

It doesn't get better when Sasuke reaches his hand out to her, offering her some help to get up. She's not sure what she should do in this situation. She knows that he must know her, after all they are in the same class, even sitting close to each other.

Her cheeks burn brighter, but she shoves her embarrassment aside when she remembers the weird situation they are in. Finally she takes his hand and stands up. ]

Thank you...Sasuke-kun.

[retsuden]

Uh-huh.

[ Once she's up, his hand doesn't immediately leave hers, mostly because it's warmer that way. But the idea of touching someone else that long gets to him and he goes to pull his hand back finally, shoving it into the pockets of his coat. ]

... We should stick together. Since we're both from Konoha. Probably safer.

[ Well as far as bad situations go, this one just dramatically improved. Uchiha Sasuke just asked her to accompany him while they figure out how to get out of the situation. She can't WAIT to tell Ino about this one. ]

Yeah, It's probably best.

[ The color on her cheeks finally returns to its normal color as she follows him, but trying not to stick too close. This was probably one of the rare times that she was the quieter of the two. ]

[ Was walking in complete silence more awkward than walking by yourself? These two are about to find out.

Sasuke's hands are still shoved in his pockets, but he can tell he's getting colder, and he's sure she's not much better off. He frowns a little as he looks at the buildings they pass, before he sees one that looks pretty empty, like it might be an abandoned apartment.

He goes to grab her hand to stop her from walking ahead of him, tugging her towards the door. ]

C'mon. It'll be better out of the snow.

[ She didn't find it more awkward, and she was glad of the company. Even if she hadn't had a very large crush on him, she would have been glad to not be alone.

Then he was holding her hand again, and her cheeks blushed again. She was never going to be able to hide her feelings like this, maybe she could blame it on the cold. ]

Yeah...let's get out of the snow.

[ This girl was gonna give herself a nosebleed with all the blushing. He rolls his eyes slightly, thinking it must be a girl thing, seeing as they all seem to act this way around him and Itachi.

He goes to push open the door, pulling her inside. It's definitely warmer out of the direct elements, but he's still quick to walk over to the fireplace that's in the center of the room and quickly blow some fire onto the old logs there. That should help more. ]

... So uh. What's your name again?
