[ Chizuru doesn't look at her Omni, especially when there's no sign of a new message after she's tucked it away. Instead she heads towards the nearest lamp, and then using that to get over to the one she knows to be closest to the beach-- and then from there the girl just runs, out onto the sand, all the way until she can see the blue-haired form sitting there. And even then Chizuru runs until she's right next to Jinx, apparently having rushed over so quickly that Chizuru is panting, clearly out of breath. It's a small miracle the girl didn't just pass out from running way too hard on her way here - or maybe it's just the determination that kept her going.

It doesn't matter that her legs give out now though. She made it. Even though the situation isn't just magically solved, at least Chizuru made it all the way out to the beach, at least she made it to Jinx's side.

Even though it's becoming rapidly obvious what the other girl meant by saying that she was frozen. Jinx isn't moving at all, is she. ]

Jinx..? I-- um, this--

[ Chizuru tries to speak, though her words are interrupted by heavy breaths, apparently still haven't fully regained her breath from running. Her chest rapidly moves up and down as she tries to suck in air. ]

A-Are you alright..? Does it hurt..?

( despite her eyes looking straight forward into the ocean, she can kinda see chizuru through her peripheral vision. and she can still hear the other clear as day, so that's also good. on her omni, there will be a ding sound coming through -- a message waiting for her. the message will be from un: bombshell that says: )

u KNOW im stuck here right? i wasnt going to go anywhere. u didnt need to run, dummy. ❤️

( funny how she can throw an emoji by just thinking it. but she threw that in along with her message. on the off chance she might take what she said out of context. )

[ It's not like she imagines it'll be another message from Jinx, but just in case it's something important, the girl does scramble to grab her Omni again, looking at it and spotting the text on there.

At least Chizuru is smart enough to put two and two together here, figuring that this is probably the only way Jinx can communicate right now - especially since she didn't even see the other type this message.

It does make the look on her face drop a little with worry and sadness though, which might be visible to Jinx out of the corner of her eyes. ]

So it really is like that..

[ That's the worry. Not misinterpretation of what Jinx's message meant - thankfully. No, it's just that she's worried about the other. Can Jinx really not move? But that's so bad. It must be so scary for her, Chizuru figures, because it's already scary to Chizuru, and she's not the one stuck like this in the first place. ]

I-I'm glad I ran though! I wanted to be with you as soon as possible.. So maybe I can figure out how to help!

[ Even if she has no idea how to do that right now.

But she wants to at least try. She can't leave Jinx like this. ]

there is one thing u can help me w/. can u move more in front of me? im sick of looking at the ocean. i would rather look at u.

[ There's a delay in her reaction, since obviously Chizuru has to first look back down at her Omni again to read the message on there.

But once she does, she's already moving. Scooting across the sand so she's sitting in front of Jinx now, rather than at the other's side - though it's a little unnerving to watch her like this, Chizuru thinks. It's just the way Jinx is totally unmoving. Those eyes are aimed at her, but if it wasn't for the messages, she wouldn't even know if Jinx is able to see her at all.. ]

.. is this okay?

[ Chizuru tries to smile though. Even though she's scared, and even though this is certainly a scary situation in every single sense of the word, she doesn't want to worry Jinx when the other is already stuck in such an awful position. ]

Do you-- Do you know what happened to make you like this..?

[ Maybe she could figure out what to do for Jinx if she had a little bit more information. ]

( if she should smile, use her voice, hug her, anything she would right about now. )

yea thats great. thnx. this is a lot better. and no, no idea. i was sitting here waiting and i got stuck. vi said she's on her way too. so i guess... keep me company until she gets here?

( like vi has the answer or the solution to this. she doesn't, she knows it. but she is use to her sister figuring whatever problem out and having all the answers. )

[ It feels like the least she can do. Especially when Chizuru has no idea how to undo whatever happened to Jinx. Usually people don't just.. get 'stuck' like this, right? She's never seen it happen to anyone before. Not back home, nor here...

.. all she can do is hope that Vi somehow knows how to undo this, Chizuru supposes. Maybe that's why the other is coming over in the first place..? ]

As long as you're here, I'm not going anywhere. I promise. [ It's the sort of thing she would have promised even if she didn't know Vi was on her way. If the length of time she might have to spend here would be a lot more uncertain.

She'd still do it for Jinx.

Chizuru reaches out with a hand, putting it on top of Jinx's own unmoving hand. The hand is cold, but whereas Chizuru usually doesn't mind that, right now it only makes the other feel even more like a statue. ]

Though it's.. [ She starts, but then feels a little bad about saying this. On the other hand, they're dating, and that means Chizuru does want to try to be honest here, so-- ] It's a little scary to see you like this..

[ More than a little scary.

Because she's just that worried about Jinx. ]

yea it blows. been wondering when i get freed if ill have trouble walking. u know like when we washed up to shore.

( she stops to give chizuru a few seconds to read her response: )

im srry its scaring u. id hold u if i could. if it gets too much staring at me, u can just sit beside me. it can be like we're just sitting at the beach and talking.

[ Chizuru shakes her head once she's done reading, glancing back up from her Omni at Jinx. ]

No, I'll stay here. [ Jinx asked her, after all. If staying with Jinx is one of the few things she can do for the other in this state, then staying in front of her, where Jinx can actually see her, is another. ] It's fine.

[ When the Omni doesn't ping with a new message just yet, she puts it down in the sand, so she can look at Jinx even more properly, her free hand still resting against the other's hand. ]

Making sure you know you're not alone is way more important to me than anything being scary. [ She smiles. It's a thin smile, since Chizuru is still worried out of her mind, but it's not a fake one. ] I'll be okay.

( and it appears that's all there will be after that, but there's more coming. ... something that she can't help but to ~~say~~ type: )

ive been rly enjoying you. this. this whole thing w/ u. i hope this month of us together still will be nice, too.

[ For a moment Chizuru does assume that might be all. Maybe it's hard for Jinx to keep sending these messages - especially when Chizuru has no idea how she's doing it. Is her mind somehow connected with the Omnis? That might be exhausting, so it's not like she'd blame Jinx if she would stop sending messages. Chizuru will sit here with her all the same, even if it's in very awkward silence.

.. not that it'd be fun to bear said awkward silence, but Chizuru would if she had to. All the way until Vi might show up.

But-- no. That isn't the end of the messages, apparently, and the girl glances down at her Omni when she hears it notify her of a message again.

It's a big of an unexpected message, but.. it does seem to put a slight smile on Chizuru's face, despite the circumstances. ]

I'm just glad you can think of that, even at a moment like this.. [ Especially since it must be kind of scary to be frozen like that.

Not that Chizuru thinks Jinx would ever admit to that, even if she was scared, but still.. ]

This is exactly what I want to do. To make sure you have something nice, even during difficult moments.. That you aren't alone right now.

u've been pretty amazing. sux that i cant give u a kiss or hold u. i rly want to. look at me being gross, ha ha! can't rly help it.

( and that holds more truth than she's aware. jinx really can't help it with the chocolate being in effect. but chocolate or not, she would still feel this way. )

[ The girl blushes a little bit, ducking her head. She's still clearly visible though - just looking a touch shy.

It's a momentary reaction anyway before her gaze flutters back to the statue-like Jinx. ]

You think that's gross..?

[ Sure, it's a bit of a weird conversation to have under the current circumstances.

But Chizuru is pretty sure any conversation would be strange under these circumstances - and it's better to have something to spend time with until Vi gets here. ]

im sure to SOMEONE thinks me being this way is gross hahaha!! like ewwwww look at jinx getting all mushy w/ this girl! going to barf! but who cares right?

[ At least that gets the girl to smile a little bit, despite the situation. Even if she can't hear the words in Jinx's familiar voice, at least the tone comes across well enough even in text with the other's rather expressive way of writing.

Apparently the Omnis pick up on that even when you aren't literally writing down the words yourself, huh.

She looks up from the screen and back at Jinx, still smiling. It's a thin smile, but a smile all the same. ]

Yes. I think those people are wrong. [ It's nothing too serious though. ] There's nothing ever wrong with showing someone else you care for them, right? It's a sweet thing to do.

[ She ducks her head a little shyly. ]

Besides.. I like it.

[ Sure, maybe some of it goes a little too far when Jinx goes down the more sexual teasing route, but Jinx saying she wants to hold her hand? That's just very sweet, and it's easily visible that Chizuru appreciates it. ]

( again, it's a damn near shame she can't move a muscle. she'd give anything to just place her hand on the other's cheek, rub noses, then flick a hair strand or two out of her face. )

good. im rly happy to hear that. that im making u like this sort of thing. relationships is all about liking stuff and each other. and if theres smth u DONT like, we compromise and try to fix it. a team thing. u know? working together to make it better.

Well.. I don't like that you're stuck like this.

[ Not what Jinx meant, but it's the most relevant thing she can think of right now. Not that it's something she blames Jinx for, of course - it's something Chizuru blames this place for.

Why would it do something like this to Jinx? Especially when Chizuru can only imagine how scary it must be to be stuck like that, unable to move or do anything at all. ]

Does that count? I really hope that miss Vi will know what to do about this.. [ Her voice trails off, but it is in that trailing off that Chizuru seems to realise how depressing that might sound. And that won't do. She has to be strong for Jinx, so-- ] A-And if she doesn't, I'll do anything I can to find how to help you instead, I promise..!

[ That feels better. More hopeful.

And it's not like Chizuru wouldn't do that. She'd easily work on that for Jinx's sake, no matter how long it'd take. ]

yea. i dont like it either. i have an itch on my back and i cant get it. its going to drive me insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

( if only she could express her whine, but stretching out the "e" might be enough to get the picture across. )

[ Is that a good compromise. Chizuru is pretty sure that won't fall under the category of 'overworking'..

And it's one of those little things she can do for Jinx right now. Even moving out of the other's sight for a few moments shouldn't be a problem when Jinx can feel that she's still here because of the touch. ]

if u scratch my back, ill give u the biggest kiss u'll ever have in ur entire lifetime. heehehehe!

[ Chizuru almost wants to lightly joke about how Jinx has to stop being frozen like that for that first.. but it feels a little bit too cruel, even when it isn't really intended that way.

Which means she's just polite enough to swallow the words right back up before she can say them, instead smiling as she moves to Jinx's backside, sitting down in the sand there and placing her hand against the other's back. ]

You have to let me know where to scratch, alright..?

[ Since it's not like Chizuru can notice it any other way while Jinx can't move. So she holds that one hand on Jinx's back, and the other on her Omni so she can see if when Jinx manages to send another message. ]

yep! okok. the itch is on the right. around my shoulder. best bet is to do a ONE big circle and then do it smaller and smaller u'll get it eventually!!!

( or this could be a silly way to get the girl to scratch her entire back. either way, getting back scratches from a very cute girl is everyone's dream. )

[ Jinx is getting her wish anyway.

It's Chizuru, after all. She's way too sweet to question any of this - and even if she was the type to do so, it's not like she'd mind scratching Jinx's entire back just because the other likes it, even if it may not necessarily be itchy.

So she does what she does best - just listening to instructions. Chizuru starts with a rather large circle, scraping her nails over the clothes on Jinx's back very lightly, almost like she's worried about hurting the other if she does it just a little bit harder or more rough.

She makes sure to move especially slow around the area Jinx indicates, before softly asking: ]

[ Well, that's close enough that Chizuru is certain to get it right once she starts moving her hand a little bit. Just a tiny bit up, and then she's got to be right on the spot where Jinx must be so itchy - so once she gets the idea that she's there, she digs in her nails just a little bit more.

Not even remotely hard enough to be painful, of course. This is Chizuru we're talking about, and she abhors the idea of hurting anyone. She hopes it's just hard enough that it can calm the itch that was bothering Jinx. ]

I hope it'll go away after this.. It's so mean of your own body to get all itchy when you can't do anything about it.
