When the thought 'I wish I could just destroy this whole place' entered her mind, she knew she was in trouble. She knew she was in at least SOME stage of corruption and needed to get it in check.
But the people, outside of Makoto, who she would talk to about the corruption were. all. gone.
And that was the problem. That was why she kept having the thought. Rei, Minako, Hotaru, Setsuna, Varian, Atsushi, Bella, the list went on and on and on and on and on. It was just her and Makoto now.
And then the fearful thought, 'But when would Makoto be next?' would come.
When would another loved one, another precious person be taken? What was even the point to keep going if they were all gone? This was not the first time she had had such thoughts. But this wasn't about Galaxia and an endless war and all life going on. This was just her and her life. This wasn't home. It got incredibly difficult to keep going, to keep hoping they may someday arrive, because there was no way to bring them out of the ocean. But also, she didn't WANT them to arrive. That was the hitch, the problem.
She missed all of her precious people like crazy.
But in her truest of heart's desires, she could never wish them to come to this hell, even if she knew the girls would follow her without hesitation.
"But you're not here," she told the crashing waves. She was Sailor Moon right now, waiting for Maul.
She was so. damn. tired. of this world taking from her, hurting her, and how she was supposed to be okay with it. She didn't even get to mourn Hotaru because this world made her so happy that all she could do was be glad Hotaru got out.
She wasn't okay.
Sailor Moon watched the waves crash around her, a storm out on the horizon making them harsher than usual. The wind whipped her hair around her, her wings going back and forth with the breeze. In her hand was her Tiare.
She sensed someone coming towards her. It wasn't Maul she sensed, but another.
"I would not come any closer," she said, eyes still out on the horizon, her voice harsh. "The waves may suck you under." And she wasn't much in the mood to save anyone. The only reason the waves weren't dragging her away was because of her strength where she stood. "If you have need of the beach there is endless amounts of it," she gestured to the miles of shore.
B. Wildfire [Closed to Maul (and observers)]
Finally, she thought.
"Don't hold back," her head tilted a bit to glance at the Sith behind her, though she did not fully face him, her back still turned to him.
There was a breath, a tic of a second, as if she might change her mind about the whole thing. After all, she was always so hesitant to fight anyone.
She exhaled.
The second passed.
She was already right in front of him, her tiny size and powers allowing her to be deadly fast, her Tiare was raised, fully intending to strike him in the head, whether or not he could block or dodge was his problem.
C. Smoke and ashes [Willful Machine]
The fight had done her a lot of good to get most of her anger out.
But so would shopping. She was currently looking at herself in the mirror, a bright pink and red outfit for springtime. She was turning this way and that with a soft hum and when she saw someone behind her in the mirror she spun around and grabbed their hand, her own nails were still quite sharp as her corruption was still edging away.
"I need your opinion!" she smiled brightly, feeling better and intending on buying a large spring wardrobe with some retail therapy. "How does this look?" she gave a little spin.

When she summoned a Honeymoon Therapy Kiss, his first instinct was to throw up the Force against the incoming blast. The shield made of the energy field wasn't enough to direct it completely away from him but some of the energies were pushed to either side instead of hitting him full-on. But he couldn't deflect the entire blast and so he was hit with the last portion of the attack, causing him to gasp out in pain from the force of it all.
When it was over, he was still standing, albeit feeling like he'd gotten hit head on with a bus. Now it was his turn. He used his powers to bring up an incredibly large amount of sand and then threw it all at Sailor Moon at top speed, letting it act like a sandblaster. It wouldn't kill anyone but it would still hurt like hell.

As soon as the hill of sand was lifted into the air, she was already summoning a protective barrier of light to surround her as soon as it blasted toward her. She lacked the Force to give her an early warning, but her senses were still quite keen. She felt her heels sink into the sand as the sand kept up its onslaught.
She watched as it slammed into the barrier and lost sight of Maul because of it. She clenched her teeth. A Sith out of sight benefited only the Sith. Where was he?

While Maul almost always fought honorably, he also knew there was no point in holding back against Usagi when she was like this. Giving her an advantage would only end the match quicker than he would have liked. So he sprang at her from behind with his saberstaff, hoping to catch her by surprise.

But she was not so pinned. Her ripped decorative wings shifted to her real ones and she immediately took flight, pulling Maul with her.

He pulled back as far as he could, jutted his head forward, and headbutted her. There was a saying in the galaxy: "No one ever wins in a headbutt with a Zabrak." The thick skulls and horns that nature had given them made it an ideal way to attack opponents.

Sailor Moon's crescent moon glows bright and light snaps out of it, blood spilling from the moon for just a second before her body heals itself. She releases him maintaining her levitation as she lets him fall. Her hand went to her forehead and she wiped away the dry blood.
Her eyes narrow and she bears her fangs.
Well, if that's how he wants to play it, she pulls up her Tiare and spins it once before summoning up a Honeymoon Therapy Kiss.

He trusted Usagi with his whole being and knew she'd never hurt him. But this place had a bad habit of turning people against one another, even if they loved one another deeply. Being driven to corruption and madness wasn't beyond the realm of possibility for his best friend.

He wasn't moving. And then, her hands stopped with the Tiare mere centimeters above his chest.
Her anger disappeared and she saw not the cause of her anger but Maul and he did not deserve to die.
She dropped her Tiare and scrambled off of him, tears streaming down her face.
She had almost killed him.
What had she become?

"It's alright," He murmured softly. "It's alright." He'd wanted to fight her for so long. This was definitely a case of 'Be careful what you wish for.'

"I'm so sorry!"

He stroked her hair slowly and gently. "Do you want me to help with your corruption?" He could probably pull it out of her if he tried but it wasn't a guarantee. His blood powers weren't always the most reliable.

“I will.” He concentrated on the feelings of love for his best friend and summoned forth the strange power his blood had given him. A green glow surrounded Usagi and his hands became transparent as he reached inside of her mind, pulling out the smoky black clouds of corruption that had built up inside of her.
