[ she rolls her eyes. katherine obediently follows him, coming to stand on the opposite side of the bed. it's luxurious for a pirate's ship and big enough for two people. she knows that it feels nice. she'd slept on it the moment she had been pulled from the water and had commandeered the ship as her own. ]

[ she scrutinises the bed playfully before peering up at him. ]

The blanket looks cold by itself.

[ she rolls her eyes and smiles wider. sometimes, stefan has no imagination. they're on a pirate ship, there's a comfortable bed, and it looks awfully cold and empty. one plus one. ]

[ she smiles happily. excited by him not refusing her, katherine sits on the edge of the bed and works her boots off her feet. once that's done, she slips beneath the covers, propped up by her pillows.

she looks at him expectantly. ]

We may need to try and steal this bed once we've docked.

I'm not surprised that you'd say that.

( stefan waits till she's gotten into the bed before he pulls his own boots off so he can slide in with her. he tucks himself closer to her. )

I think this bed's bolted down. I don't know if it'll be easy to do.

[manipulative]

[ and of course, he would say that. always the one with the logic, isn't he? but she's here with her own reminder. ]

I'm almost six hundred years old and you're almost two. Do you really think a bolted down bed stands a chance against us?

[ she pouts. it would've been nice to bring a bed with them, even if they don't need it. ]

But what if wherever we find ourselves has everything but a bed, Stefan? Where will we sleep?

[ rolling onto her side, she rests her palm into her cheek and cocks her brow as she looks at him pointedly. ]
