[Sylvia hops back onto the windowsill and looks up at Raleigh and Eames as they speak, deciding not to intervene as things pretty much work out exactly as Arthur would want. No offense Raleigh it's just that Arthur's kinda feelin flirty.]

Somewhere outside Spaghetti is rooting around for treats in their trash. She's probably who Arthur will see first. And hear, handing out of the can like she's lounging with a Helloooo Arthur~]

[He says hello to Spaghetti as he walks up to the door, smiling as he steps through and comes straight to the kitchen. He drops his bag, heavy with books, on the table before he starts shrugging off his coat.]

[ Eames looks over his shoulder and smiles at Arthur. ]

Raleigh brought us a gift, so I changed my mind on dinner.

[Arthur shrugs a shoulder and heads to the fridge for a beer.]

[He pops the cap off his beer and wanders over to Eames to look over his shoulder at the food.]

That and figure out what I can do with these blood powers, you know?

[ Eames turns his head to give Arthur a quick kiss on the cheek when he peers over, but he's busy cutting up this chicken and deciding which parts he's going to cook and which bits are going away for later so that's all Arthur gets. ]

[So! Cute!! Raleigh smiles but says nothing, though he looks at Arthur and looks very smug before moving on.]

Right.. right, you said. Learning anything good today? Seeing as we got bit by the same bug.

[Arthur can't hide the immediate smile at Eames' affection, but he works his jaw and composes himself before he looks up at Raleigh.]

Not really. Some specifics about the best materials to make weapons out of, if you want to integrate your powers with them. I'm not really planning on becoming a blacksmith any time soon, but it's good to know what to ask for down in Willful Machine.

I love stuff like this. Smithing, making.. heavy industry. I've been working on trying to focus all this new power into a single point.

Heat and electricity together mean I could weld stuff without the machine.

You could. Getting the right temperature and keeping it steady would take bractice, but I don't think it's unheard of for Coldbloods to use their powers that way.

[He glances at what Eames is doing again.]

Less dangerous than hunting, in any case.

[Raleigh follows the glance before looking away and busying himself with his beer. Y'all are cute but he knows better than to say anything.]

I don't think hunting is really in my cards. I hung up those boots in Deerington and it feels good.

At this point it feels like the only thing I know how to do.

[ eames helpfully pipes up from where he's finishing up with the meal prep ]
