Sometime around the beginning of October invitations would have started to be sent out to the various people in Trench Ange and Ruby know - announcing the two girls' wedding at the end of the month.

When the day itself comes, people will find the location - the newly rebuilt Clockhouse, which some of the invitees may have helped rebuild in the first place - tastefully decorated. Some of the house's stranger features have been covered up by decorations in red and gold, mostly taking on the shapes of roses and butterflies all over the place.

Oh, don't worry - I'm going to thank her profusely for making you happy. That's the important part!

[ He smiles; the idea of bowing so low that he touches the ground is a bit ridiculous, but it's not an unfair ask. He gives her another little squeeze and then takes a step back to give her a bit of space and to avoid getting what's left of his tears on her. He definitely doesn't want to mess her up before they get strated! ]

She's my new sister, after all. Which means I'm going to have to look out for her, just like I look after you.

Anyway! A few months back I adopted these two guys from Darth Maul! They're like...hmm. Sorta like gigantic cows with rabbit ears. You need to see them for yourself!

But they are really big and really fast! Riding Mila and Delyn is like an adventure in itself!

[ Ange definitely stares for a moment when he enters the room like that. It's just so.. different to see Qrow like this, especially when she's used to him having some sort of scruffy goth raccoon aesthetic about him most of the time.

Not even a bad kind of aesthetic, but it's just so different from seeing him in a suit and with his hair actually being done properly that it does make her pause for a moment.

.. until that question hits her, anyway, making her look a tad shy in a way she truly can't hide today of all days.

Today truly is just an openly soft Ange day. ]

No. Are we.. supposed to? [ Look, it's hard when you're stuck in the moment and super nervous about it to think about the fact you may want to remember all of this much later on. ]

I'm kind of worried about looking dumb.

[ Even though Qrow said she looks amazing. But what if she'd look dumb on the photo anyway?! ]

[ Ange laughs, mostly just kind of amused by Luz's overenthusiastic talking. ]

Well, you have now, haven't you?

[ Don't worry, Luz. She appreciates it! ]

I guess I should thank you for coming. I didn't expect so many people to turn up for this.

No, I know the goddess of beauty, she'd agree with me.

[She grins.] Every bride is stunning on her wedding day.

To Ruru you look nice every day, Ange-chan. She's in love with you.

[She blushes deeply and rubs the back of her head in embarrassment.]

Trust me, I get it. Outside of one or two things, I uh... can't really channel that side when I'm just... like this, lil ol' me.

[She appreciates names aren't being named. But it doesn't change that outside of transformation, Usagi can only access her healing and under duress, shielding.]

[Lance is of course going to have to check out the axe throwing. It's so very Ruby, and he's thrown an axe before. A lot of axes. Yanno, when he got bored on his family's farm and was told to chop wood for something to do instead of browsing his social media.]

Well, if the bride insists!

[He grins and does a flourishing bow. Then he grabs and axe and throws it at one of the Mother Mercy targets, hitting it right between what might be her tits (who knows what she has under there).]

Bullseye! [Not really, he was aiming for her face, but it's been a while since he's thrown an axe, okay.]

[Lance isn't really paying attention since his focus was on finding Ange. The axe goes right in front of his nose, and he panics and sets it on fire. It's burning as it hits its mark and the Glaceon that he brought with him jumps off his shoulders to go fire ice at it… you know, before the house burns down. Again.

He looks at Ange sheepishly, rubbing his neck. Does that happen? He doubts it and decides to just lead with what he'd came over here to say.] Uhh… congratulations?

[The axe throwing is absolutely Lance's favorite part of the wedding. Well, other than the joy of Ruby and Ange and the love and the food. Love is sore topic for him, but he's happy for his friends. And any difficult or otherwise good and overwhelming feelings he might have are also dealt with nicely by throwing axes.

He picks one up as he comes back over to the axe throwing area after grabbing some food and another drink. Then he places his glass down on a nearby table and swings the axe around his hand with a gleam in his eyes and a grin that matches the mood of her laughter. As a mild empath, he might be able to tell Kainé is having some feelings, but doesn't mention them.]

Think you can split her face open ten times in a row? [That's his personal record.]

[Lance knows Ange pretty well by now, but he has yet to meet anyone related to her. If she mentioned Battler to him, then that's one of the many memories that got (temporarily?) flushed recently. Long story.

So his ears perk up immediately when he hears the guy telling a story of young Ange to another guest at one of the tables. That person excuses themselves once he's done and Lance slides over with an assessing and curious squint.]

I didn't know any of Ange's family was in town.

[Well, he didn't expect to be asked to go to the photobooth by a very tall woman with scorpion claws for hands, but here he is. He also recognizes her as the one who fell asleep mid axe throw earlier and nearly took his nose off, but it went unaddressed because well, she was asleep and he had a bride to congratulate. So he is kind of taken aback!]

Uh… do I know you? [He sounds genuinely confused and unsure. His memory as been out of sorts for a while. He looks down at her claws.] I feeeel like I'd remember someone with sick-ass claws on their hands. Just saying.

Oh- Okay- I didn't know that actually.

[Ruby realized that Usagi liked a certain amount of discretion when it came to her alter ego, and she could respect that. She had known that a lot of the powers came from the transformation but she didn't really realize where differences between Usagi and Sailor Moon began and ended. It was interesting.

She raised her hands up a little in surrender and shook her head.]

No, no, no. Don't worry about that. You are not bringing down the mood at all- I just figured I'd try and get you to give it a shot.

There's always the photobooth if you'd rather do that instead. I'm not going to force you to do something if you don't want to or think it's going to be safe.

[Lance watches Shiro toss an axe at the Mother Mercy target for the third time as he sips at his third (fourth?) drink of the night. Axe throwing is something he has definitely done and he can tell Shiro is in the Zone, so he's visibly restraining himself from giving pointers.]

Ooo, almost got her in the forbidden garden that time.

[One day. And when that day comes Scorpia wont know what hit her.]

For sure! I mean- I even got a brand new eye and it didn't help me see it. ...Or actually I got it around the time me and Ange did start to admit we had feelings for one another. So maybe it did help.

[She offers Scorpia a hand for her to take in claw-pincer?]

Oh, really? Well - I just got here a month or two ago, so I guess it's not that surprising.

[ Battler grins at the newcomer and gestures for him to pull up a seat. ]

Wow! They sound really interesting. I'd love to meet them myself someday, and I see if they'll give me a ride!

[Scorpia excitedly starts moving ahead towards the photobooth now that she has some energy and looks back at him to answer his question with a smile.]

Nope! I'm pretty sure we've never made before in my life. [What he says about her pincers do sound complimentary, so she'll take it as that!] That feels like all the more reason to me to take some pictures together and get to know each other! ...Oh, by the way, my name's Scorpia!

[It will be like feeling pain for the first time!]

Oh, that. I guess the timing does sound romantic when you put it like that? A bit!

[She chuckles and gently takes her hand in her pincer.]

Great! I'm honored to dance with the newlywed. I'm just so excited to be at a wedding in general, let alone for two people I care about a whole lot! [There's an excited spring in her step as she starts dancing with her to the music!]

[...Yes, this person clearly thinks she's Oz. It's so accurate Echo can't recoil her hand and instead just ends up blushing.]

[Because if this is an accurate metaphor, she knows deep down that she'll probably end up becoming better somehow just by doing this.]

[Echo takes note of his odd manner of speaking and body language. She thought she had seen this person before, back when she was trying to figure out why she was unhappy that Oz had gone to the sea. This was not how she remembered him behaving. Apart from emotions she's actually pretty good at reading people, so the inconsistency gets her guard up just a bit.]

No. ...Thank you. I am finding this quite interesting. I would not be able to observe these people were I sleeping.

For everyone's safety, I will politely pass on the axe throwing.

BUT OH! A photo booth sounds super fun! We can make all sorts of faces and poses! Is it the kind with sticker decorators as an option? Or I could just do that later if you want!

[She grabs Ruby's hands, bouncing on the heels of her feet. Ruby is one of the few people in Trench where she can be at full energy, full "Usagi-ness" levels.] COME ON BRIDE!

[It's a new one for Shiro. Or ... he thinks it is, anyway. There's some vague muscle memory there he really doesn't want to dwell on too hard. Like all of his combat skills.]

[Fortunately, Lance interrupts before his head goes too far into that zone, away from The Zone. He drops the new axe he'd just picked up.]
