[anna doesn't know what to say at first when she sees this happen a second time and she's actually prepared for it. there is light everywhere in a way that anna never expected to see, and within it and without it she can see the three of them together in their entirety. she can always see what she hates about herself, but the blinding force of love is blotting that all out until it's the only thing that she can see or care about.]
[she's held close against the light, and she smiles. her arm reaches around kainé's shoulders and squeezes her tightly, and she's not going to let go.]
Be nice to Thom Yorke. He's England's saddest boy.
[she just wants to be held right now, even if the jokes are still coming. even if she can't leave stuff alone. but she's awash in the love of two people, including one person she was for some stupid fucking reason worried about. how could she be worried about venus, she thinks, feeling her light surround them all. she might be dumb sometimes, but she's at least not going to have to be alone again.]
I’ve never been any fucking good with words. [ An understatement. But she smiles, and there's a brightness to it, rather than sadness and self loathing. She feels peaceful. Like Venus' effervescence lightens the weight on her too. ] Anna’s just gorgeous. She just… she takes my damn breath away, just seeing her move and talk. All the time.
[ Underneath the shell, Venus is utterly strange to her, brighter and softer than she thought was possible for any living thing. Wanting to see and touch, and so wrapping her in a cloak of being known and understood. She is becoming something that is not of skin and bone and muscle, and it is not at all what she expected her to be, but she has no intention of turning away. She is not afraid. She can't be, when Venus' embrace gazes at her so softly, telling her that there is yet beauty within her. ]
I could… it was like I really saw your heart, even more than before. I could feel you. I could see the you that’s emerging now.
[ She laughs at Anna's quip, her finger prodding at the place where Venus emerges from her hollow shell. She holds them both close. She is not all ephemera and light nor metal and plastic. She's a creature of flesh and bone, through and through. Maybe that's alright. ]

That feels nice. It’s so soft.
